@kimjalh99 72snibble makes some good points this album is not as good as it could of been, it has many awesome songs, but some of the songs sound like they could be b-sides for the new creed album (Full Circle). it's not the band's fault it's AB III's producer's (Michael "Elvis" Baskette) fault. the whole album sounds very overproduced there's way to much going on in the music and that takes so much away from it and the sound that Alter Bridge has been building from the get go.

This album is no comparison to Blackbird or One Day Remains. In their first two albums, every song was something new and every song had an originality to it. This album almost seems like they were being lazy with it. Alter Bridge is my favorite band and always will be but I gotta admit this is a disappointment. The only original sounding song is Slip To The Void... the rest are generic and he doesn't alternate with lows and highs. Other than Slip To The Void, 95% of the album is high-pitched.

AB3 is a solid album, lets face it, its Alter Bridge! But 50% of the songs sound like the extras on Blackbird, just kinda there, but good.

A lot of the songs has the same composition, guitar, song, then the bands falls in, then a hard rock refrain, then verse, refrain and then metal breakdown in the middle of the song.. it makes you tired in the end.
