Why do all the smart and funny shows get canceled?

My family has only just found this - and we watched it all in 3 days and are now going back over the special features - it is just so good. Fantastic show in the mould of Pushing Daisies. Why does the US produce such great award winning TV and then kill it off after one season when so much dross seems to go on forever? Add Studio 60 and Firefly to the list and you have 4 of the best shows ever made!

Yup - but only Region 1 DVD for the US. We foreign fans have to invest in a multi-region player! Still worth it...

Wonderfalls was one best TV shows in history. The fast food minds of America just did not get it, went right over their little minds. So who cares, we've got the DVD now.

My just bought me the box set of Wonderfalls. I know now my wife loves me and will go to Heaven. One of the bestest shows in the universe!!! Rent or buy.. just see it.

The best show on the air in 2004 - and it's gone! Thank goodness the 13 episodes are on DVD. Fox lost their heads on this one.
