chomp isn't a bad app by any means, but i definitely like handcent much better. great how to guide on this though. you ought to do one on handcent.

@AnTsOfLy i just got the Hero and im really really glad i got it, the only thing at least for me is that the SD card reader is next to the battery so you have to open the back to take out and put back in, but thats me other than that its an amazing phone

I too have Handcent Sms but really havent tried it but now I will, Handcent Sms looks dark evil compared to Chomp SMS

I've been using Chomp SMS for a bit now. Even though they have fixed the whole bug with the messaging app, I still love the features of this app.

which is better, handcent or chomp? also, can you uninstall the stock android messaging app (or any other stock android app)?

and one more thing, how do you remove stuff from the screens? it's easy to add stuff (+ sign) but no way to remove. i'm having problems with this phone (just got it a few days ago). thanks.

yo, u need to put ur camera the other way round, so its facing just the phone, so you can see what your doing and we can see the phone. Other than that, keeping doing what your doing!
