The kitchens were certainly busy, but no ranting and bullying from the head chef, strong direction and order but no hysterics Ramsay-style. The same state of affairs existed on the QE2, plenty to do, but calm order, almost a production line.

I agree with you. many years ago when I was studying at college I worked part time in a kitchen washing dished in an italian restaurant and the owner was something like this mthfcker and after a week or so I gradually started responding him and laughing at him. He fired me a month later but I didn't care about his stupid business. Whenever I find a bully like this I just avoid them.
