I have wasted so much time and money on phone calls and spending our cash hoping to receive payments for services and products. Even typing this blog is taking away from my sleep because I'm so upset with the service of Paypal that I need to get it off my chest. Again does anyone know a good merchant provider and how does that work? Its so good when you talk to someone who knows something and not to a bunch of people who know nothing and saying some higher power is looking and its in process.

Then say you have to enter the none-profit number in to get the donation button. I would of waited until I got that number and then upgraded. They allowed the process. But then they blocked my account. I can receive money but can not take any out. Ok no big deal and so I called them and told them I would like to down grade the account to personal until I can give them the none-profit number. It has been a month. I have called them many times and they say they sent it to some higher power. Review

They also try to collect from people like myself who weren't shipped anything at all! They also offered me a discount on my first purchase that would have about covered the shipping just to sign up with them but then tried to charge me the full amount! Don't use them, beware!

A chines buyer with only 8 feedback (of low budget items to build fb) sudenly buy a high priced item and paypal give him full refund! Results in: the item I send is stolen, my fees, the shipping cost I paid.... this is a total lost and waste of time! I hope ebay and paypal will crash ASAP!

Things I learn and know about paypal is to not link up banks and ebay accounts with them because you are setting yourself up. Its best to just use a credit card because if something goes wrong where paypal tries to hold your money your bank can fight that battle and always win from my research. Most people that are complaining are who lost money in counterfeit items.

That is why I think having a merchant account with a credit card company is best - and it will give protection - which paypal fails to do.

I saw one guy on youtube who had trouble with paypal where he had his money held from paypal for around 1000.00 for 6 months. Thats ridiculous. Actually there own terms allow them to hold money for nine months - can you imagine how much money would be tied up for someone who has EUR1,000 held up when operating on a ten per cent margin?

I told him sorry, but I do not accept returns, as stated in my eBay ad. @rastiskawina The problem is that paypal is now the only way to pay for items through ebay because the two companies are connected/run by the same place. They forbid you to pay with a money order or let sellers say they accept money orders or checks anymore. It's not for "protection" as they say, it's so they can charge you more in paypal fees.

A better way to hurt eBay and Paypal is to continue to have an account, but conduct a sort of strike by not using your account from 7th of December, 2010 to 7th of January, 2011. Show them that users can interrupt their revenue flow.

TransactionReportSystem would prevent fraud & abuse through a unique automated/enhanced sentiment report system, graduated member grading & a risk level selection method. Been available for 3 yrs but is perhaps complicated without study. Ebay has the data crunching capability to determine member credibility with a perfect system design. 13yrs experience w Ebay wild west environs. 1of 4 transaction reporting limit max is 1 key.

Really glad I gave them my credit card details, bank account and thanks to thier "security" check I had to give them five forms of id. Nice. Then I find out there people at the call centre in India have been caught selling customer details to organised crime. Well, they ended up with enough to know me better than my mother before I got sick of trying to communicate with the guys in India and trying to negotiate their awful business processes.

I just got robbed by Paypal today! This DEADBEAT loser (ebay name stkwireless) bought not one but TWO 32" flatscreen televisions from me. AFTER I shipped them out he emails me saying, "I ordered the wrong model...sorry about that! I'm just going to refuse the delivery." I told him sorry, but I do not accept returns, as stated in my eBay ad. That motherfucker refused the packages so I was charged not only for the original shipping but the return shipping as well! $154 and Paypal backed it!

@DarrenFlood1995 I do not know - they ask for a huge amount of proof that you are you including photocopies of passports which incidentally is illegal - they claim it is legal if the photocopy is in black and white. At the end of the day you are better off paying by credit card.

I have complained some issues especially some ebay / PayPal staff stealing the customer info and transaction habits for marketing and hoax purposes. I realized Asia Pacific Call Center Located in China. Customer service officers doesn't speak proper English. When I complained issue they just closed my account and ripped off $1624 balance. Since then they have been ignoring. So if you gonna complain better withdraw your funds first or else they will rip off

With 2,900 positive feedbacks, that's saying alot. I've been off eBay for 17 months now and sell exclusively in my local market on Craigslist, cash on delivery only.
Clist rocks and I dont have to put up with any more PayPal/eBay/IRS account-dipping, legal loopholes, payment withholding, account lockups, hacked information and lack of fucking support.

@rastiskawina The problem is that paypal is now the only way to pay for items through ebay because the two companies are connected/run by the same place. They forbid you to pay with a money order or let sellers say they accept money orders or checks anymore. It's not for "protection" as they say, it's so they can charge you more in paypal fees.
