@auniruddha Thank you, it is very refeshing to have a video that isn't getting attacked. I really am trying to help parents or just help anyone that wants to understand what it is like. To see regular faces and realize they are good children yes, but the challlenges are heavy on family and friends. Wouldn't change it for the world. Blessed be
@Trippinpatchouli a lot of the original songs I had picked for my videos had copywrite so I had to choose and youtube doesn't have the best selection :|
i dont think autism and PDD and all these "disorder" labels should be called disorders. everyone is different and everyone has there strengths and weaknesses. they are never going to find the perfect human, nobody is perfect.
You know I agree with you, but until someone gets help to people that are less than the normal there will always be labels. Unfortunately I happen to have three boys with issues, I have issues. I'm only sharing to let people know they are not alone and I really do agree with you. What is normal anyway? Everyone is special in their own way :)
I cried my eyes out. Our son of seven is been diagnosed as having pdd-nos. A handsome little guy (seven years old). Friendly, but so affraid... I was very moved by your film. Very recognisable. Sorry for my english, I m dutch. Moniek
Thank you for the wonderful video. My son is about to turn three and has many signs of autism. He hasn't been diagnosed officially yet, but, his team talk about it a lot with me. They have told me that it is a strong possibility. I HATE that people stare at him in public, and I HATE it when people tell me that he needs more discipline. He is wonderful and beautiful, and so are your boys. I am SO sad that he is going through this, but I am hopeful. I believe in him, I hope he feels that.
I am from Holland and my son of 5 has Pdd-NOS and ADHD. I was watching the video and was crying out my eyes. you are saing just the correct things. I wich my parrants (65 years) whout think that way.
Thank you so much for showing us your boys. They are gorgeous. My little Brodie was diagnosed yesterday with PDD-NOS and Im trying to find out as much info as I can. Thanks again.
Thanks :) You know we go in for their testing Wednesday and I am so excited! We have been having terrible issues with Jacob raging, throwing things and cussing us out. I'm beginning to think he has bipolar issues too.
I just thought I'd add that you do a GREAT service to us special Mom's and I hope you keep up your videos - they are professional quality and I'm sure that many, many Mom's appreciate your videos! -Kim
kimaam- PDD NOS, ADHD, ADD, OCD, ODD and many others are in the 'Autistic Spectrum'. Believe it or not when you hear ppl talking about the ASD spectrum it is HUGE. I would be learly of your doctor, seriously because PDD NOS is in the Autist Spectrum Disorder. Either he isn't explaining it right to you or he isn't educated and you need to get another doc. Hope that helps.
Thank you so much for putting this clip up!! I have a 5 yr. old who was dxed with pdd, about 2 yrs ago!! I hope you don't mind, but I plan on using this clip for my speech, to show, that, children with autism look just like any other child! Good Luck, and thanks again
I'm so glad you were inspired so much, I got reported for the song I used I hope you still use the clip though. I found another song, please educate as many as you can that makes me feel so good. You take care! Shay
I loved that song! That is too bad. Who sang it because it was perfect. I can't believe you were reported - that is riduculous. You do a lot of good for us Moms - God bless and take care - Happy Holidays! -Kim
I think I pissed someone off ALL my videos got reported. Whatever, haters will be haters but it wont stop me from spreading the word. You take care too! Shay
Thank you SO much for your beautiful videos - your children are beautiful - my son was diagnosed today with PDD-NOS and it's so scary - it's nice to know there is a wonderful community of special people like you to share your experiences! All the best to you! -Kim
THank you Kim, I'm glad my videos help. I want them to help everyone and if it just reaches one person and that one person shows another I'll be happy. Our children are special and ppl need to understand them.
this is so great thank you for sharing your video i was in tears the whole time, i am in the struggle to find what is wrong with my son, i believe that he may be on the spectrum, i love the song that you picked for this video, its perfect, i always tell people not to laugh at my son he goes through alot in everyday life, and the kids at school make fun of him and call him a baby, i have to
You know this is my favorite video in all, there is something about this song and I wish he would use this song for Autistic Children. I love my children no matter what, and sometimes ppl make me so mad with their attitudes that is why we no longer go on outings as a family. Sad but true I will not have ppl mistread my child because they are misinformed. I stand firm in this decision as firm as not vaccinating my youngest boy. The odds are against my family out of five boys 3 are ASD. Take care,
What a steering power this video has! This made me cry like many others. You did a great job by sharing this. May Allah bless you all.
