This song has such an interesting rhythm to it. And reminds me of that time on the highway when some idiot cut my mom off driving and the moment she yells, the lyric "try not to turn onto problems that upset you" XD it was great

This movie and soundtrack paint Judas as a sympathetic character, and that's one of the main reasons it was so controversial

I don't feel that just because you agree with something someone has said makes you 'one of them'. I hope that we are all as individual as we appear to be, and yet, are we? ;) Perhaps we are ALL more alike than some would like to admit. Occasionally, it's nice to 'treat' others to something that could be used for profit, just not all the time. It's a personal choice for sure.

The 'reason' was, for me to open my eyes, everything is NOT always as it seems. Be open minded & closed mouthed.. LOL.. I learn much more that way :) I see a lot of things differently now.

I completely agree. I ended up watching this thing at least five or six times the first time I stumbled upon the upload. All their voices are completely committed to getting this film across to the audience in way not a lot of movie musicals can admit to.

It was controversial because it showed what was really true: Jesus was a hippie. A lot of conservative Christians didn't really want to see what was "good" about the counter-culture. Not that there wasn't a lot of bad, too.
