  • @ugniusz09 jesus. Yes, you need steam to get source sdk, which includes hammer, which you can map with.

  • Excellent work, just try to put a slow trigger push along the length of the funnel and, if possible, cancel out gravity within the funnel. Better yet, maybe direct gravity to the center of the funnel.

  • Still wishing I was as good as you, anyway, after I saw this video I tryed making one of these! Didint work out so well. I wish I knew how to make something thats creative that valve didint make, by that I ment make something out of just plain props, like you do! Your awesome!

  • You see, what I'm curious about is how you move things to the portals. Is there some default like !player? That wouldn't make sense because of portal IDs, but still...

  • @NawnExistent it could be something like !portal1 for blue and !portal2 for red because portal 1 and portal 2 is what they are referred to. ill test it later today and post on here if it works.

  • @itatchiuser I'm thinking it may be a portal detector entity and !activator, with that shit going onto !activator with SetParent?

  • @NawnExistent Yeah ill test that too. If you can parent things with portals then I dont know how because I just tried it with !portal1.

  • @itatchiuser HAH! I figured it out, indefinitely. Quite simple actually, but lucky it works that way :D

  • @NawnExistent !activator sets it to the portal that you placed on the portal detector. I also tried portal2 as a variant of !portal2 but it still doesn't parent it to either of the portals. Any other Ideas?

    Have it activate with another one over the first funnel.

  • @reepblue OH MAH GAWD! Nice work. If you'd remove the black walls and put a panel at the wall with a cube on it, you have the simplest map ever. DARNIT I CAN'T EVEN MAKE SUCH A MAP DUE TO HAMMER MALFUNCTIONING! 3D Shaded Textured Polygons doesn't work, and neither does the rest of the camera modes. I can't see the boxes I'm making, and I am using the camera in the boxes' direction. Yes, I have CREATED THE OBJECT. Could you please PM me with some help :S?
