@XyHavix Depends on what you consider success, because most of DDR is dead, and many players don't even play it anymore. If songs had to increase because the only way people could be 'successful' is by holding the bar~ that it lost the purpose of being danceable~ then you have the crux of why DDR was no longer the accessible fun it was to people for nearly a decade.
@strikerk except the new mixes still have plenty of "danceable" songs in them - it's just that Konami provided the hardcore players with even harder stuff because they wanted it. We can argue that bar raping is a bad play practice, but the fact of the matter is the that the bar is there, Konami gave it to us, and you can use it to get higher score.

Haha! It seems to be a fault of these machines that the back arrow always goes out. I used to work in an arcade in Monroeville Mall, our back arrow was always out. One time I even hit the pads so hard I actually broke the plastic on it and we had to put it out of comission for a week until it was fixed, I was sad. But anyway, congrats to you sir! I saw someone get a AA on this when I used to work at my arcade, but never a AAA! I would be super excited if I were you too! Well done, very good job!

@araparap well you're getting shut down by me because i know for a fact that you can't change timing windows on a dedicated cabinet without hacking into the programming of the game. the "difficulty" you're thinking of is the lifebar and how easily it depletes or replenishes. try it on 1 and then try it on it. do a few steps of the same song and watch the lifebar. i can guarantee if you can get 15 on max 300 with life difficulty 1, you won't be any different with life difficulty 8.

Haha! It seems to be a fault of these machines that the back arrow always goes out. I used to work in an arcade in Monroeville Mall, our back arrow was always out. One time I even hit the pads so hard I actually broke the plastic on it and we had to put it out of comission for a week until it was fixed, I was sad. But anyway, congrats to you sir! I saw someone get a AA on this when I used to work at my arcade, but never a AAA! I would be super excited if I were you too! Well done, very good job!
