Последние крупные бои были в августе 1996. Потери ВС РФ и МВД - около 700 человек. Поверь, потери чеченцы точно не меньше.

Основные опорные пункты федералов чеченцы тогда не взяли, хотя генералы чеченцами были так проплачены, что все самые боеспособные части покинули город прямо перед входом в него чеченцев.

Та же песня была и потом - только окружили город 20000 солдат, как Лебедь "мир" привёз.

За это чеченцы ему потом кампанию оплачивали.
