  • beautiful birds

  • please post on parrot breeding sites,, such as you tube ,, first red african grey,, these birds have suffered enough without more,, exploitation..

  • @mkzen777 Dont you have anything better to then troll on peoples pets. Get a life, no one is gonna buy a bird cause you say so.

  • The elephants manipulate their environment almost as much as we do. They clear trees, dig soil and wait for it to turn wet and swampy so they can harvest the plants. Clever. They also make and maintain waterholes. The other animals like the greys benefit from this.

  • My African Grey mimic my other birds, my dogs, my door bell, me my alarm clock and host of other things, He has at least a 100 word vocabulary easliy.

Fully featherd and has never plucked non of my birds have ever plucked.

  • @Ben4uNYC good for u

  • @Ben4uNYC my wild caught african grey does pluck...african grey's are just so highly intelligent that they are often misunderstood, mine plucks from boredom and stress.

  • my african grey was bred in birmingham so he talks like a brummy XD

  • @Highstar25 You have obviously NEVER grown up with an aviary.

  • @Highstar25 you obviously don't know what you're talking about

  • @sniper152 you obviously make presumptions then regard them as the truth, ignoring the factual evidence against your manufactured world view.

    OH SNAP.

  • @Highstar25

Actually, the African grey is one of the few parrots that DOES imitate other birds in the wild.

  • they are endangered species...but so many ppl still encourage their captivity. It might be all legal in the country where you bought the parrot, but they are smuggled in Africa and traded very cheaply!

  • my passed away : (

  • same here ):

Now my female african grey is plucking alot cause of his death D:

  • did u feed it chocolate or avicado

  • it was because of the heat in our house.. heat wasnt working well. it was very cold.

  • o ok

  • My Grey African Parrot (Oscar) died in my hand today. Two days ago, I watched this video with him. He was excited whenever he heard the wild parrots. Thank you for uploading these videos. We truly enjoyed watching them. Ill never forget what happened today. I lost my baby/friend. Rest in peace little one.

  • So sorry for your loss.

  • What did Oscar die of?

  • He suffered from a virus that affected the nerve system in his right wing and paralyzed it. I don't know how my love got this virus. The vet wasnt sure himself.

  • So sorry for your loss, thank you for replying.

  • Youre most welcome

  • they should have only took 50 and started raising greys i feel so bad for them there very asome and cool my friend has a grey and i fell in love with it he shared his taco with me he said would u like some i am getting a grey soon but its parents were shot and these people saved there eggs

  • Parrots are not suited to captivity! Even if they are produced in captivity, they do NOT do well over the full span of their long lives. PLEASE! Leave them in the wild. They need a flock and so much else to be healthy.
