This is really old for sure, but just the same was a great song. I think this is 95 or so, and Icey never left control of the breaks scene and is still one of the best if not THE best breaks producers out there, what's crazy is the amount of time he spends out on the road, I millionaire DJ/Producer for sure, it's crazy!
No, the song you're thinking of is totally different, two totally different DJs with really different styles all together, but yes this song and that one have some similarities.
Icey controlled the breakbeat game from 1993-1999. DJ Icey, Kimball Collins and Rabbit in the Moon put FL on the map.
If you like this track you will like Icey's version of "Beachball", Low Down Good Girl, Tricks Theme, Grand Canyon Suites (got pulled from youtube recently though), The One, Precious Little Fantasy (Icey's version), Castles in the Sky (Icey's version). Of his later stuff "Da Rhythm" and Still Searchin.
Check them all out they will bring back great memories.
god i love icy i was 8 when my bro brought home a icy vinal that got me loven techno and to this day i beleave icy is a important artist at any good party
lol, I went to Outer Limits once, right after Zoolu 2 I believe. Rabbit in the Moon and Nigel Richards played. Is there a slower verison of this song or one really similar to this one?
"Outer Limits". That was a kick ass club. I believe it was an old skating rink? They sold 10oz can beer there! Used to make the drive from Baton Rouge to there on Fridays or Saturdays, 1995-96 if I remember right. The upstairs had the lighted antennas that would hit with the bass lines of the music. And the strobe light on the dance floor was intense as hell! Glowstick dancers were abound! LOL
i remember the intro thats nice kid
