  • he pulled 1 car? more like 1 semi

  • PAUL WALKER IS MY FUCKING IDOL BECAUSE OF HIM I OWN A ECLIPSE! DSM MY DUDE!

  • back when the first fast n furious came out i was a ricer to the max had a 91 talon es with apc wing, apc muffler, racing seats n steering wheel, painted dash red, racing petals, glowing shift knob, decals of parts i didn't have haha now that i look back on it WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING.

  • reminded me of the fast and the furioues late 90's days when body kits and over sized rims where cool

  • im all for dsm's japanese..fuck it whatever. but what were you thinking with that body kit and decals

  • @Raiderdog27

Being 18 years old 10 years ago happened. Body kits and custom paint (no decals btw) were the shit back then and I used to show this car at HIN. But now that I'm older, I'd much rather have a clean, stock appearing car. I just dont want to spend the money to convert mine back to that. Unless you want to pay for it...? ;-)

  • I worship that car....btw, I'm hoping to have the first compound turboed CSM(colt summit mirage) ever. Think of your car about 1000lbs lighter. And awd. No, traction will still be a problem. Lol.

  • @Ravewolf2000

Hell yeah, right on. I want to see it when it's finished! I'm hoping to get started on my next compound set-up sometime this winter.

  • @99GSTracer Idk anymore amigo,I've kinda jumped ship. A friend of mine took me for a ride in his 86 Malibu with a 406 stroker, and man, I have to play with my own now. So the compound turbo colt title is still up for grabs. I'm planning on building an 88 Oldsmobile Cutlass with a 406 boosted stroker. Should be...interesting lol. But,if it fails,I'll go back the 4gs lol. Still in love with your car btw.

  • That's a pretty fancy body kit and decal setup you got there..... lol

  • I have a 98 eclipse who wants to buy it

  • nice ! the 1999 gsx are getting rare ... nice ride .. love it .!\

  • Nice graphics Paul Walker

  • @MachineSwede

    Thanks baby girl.

  • @99GSTracer Still a cracker jack toy

  • @MachineSwede

Toy indeed. I've been calling it that for years, baby girl.

  • @99GSTracer your "toy" is quite sluggish sweetheart

  • @MachineSwede

...says the ignorant internet commando, whos knows everything about a car from a short youtube video... pfff... LOL

  • @99GSTracer You're driving a fucking eclipse, you can't compete with me.

  • @MachineSwede

Happily driving a 600 WHP Eclipse, that it. DSM FTW! What on Earth makes you think I'm even interested in competing with you. lol

  • @MachineSwede

Wait a sec, you drive a Volvo sedan? Yeah I'd probably be dreaming about more thrilling cars on Youtube as well if I were you... haha At least the kids are safe on the was to soccer practice, right?

  • @99GSTracer You can have as much HP as you want, but you're still going to be driving a rice patty no matter what.

  • @MachineSwede a rice patty beats a nazi-mobile. :D

  • @MachineSwede ur an idiot!!!

  • God I LOVE DSM's!

  • who side swiped you???

  • i allmost bought a v6 exlipse u should of she wanted 1700 it was in near perfect condition just a little paint fade

  • @arnoni11

    I'm not a fan of the newer V6 Eclipses. I'm a DSMer. 4G63 or nothing. :-)

  • @99GSTracer lol she wanted 2750 it had under 130k she wouldent go down 200 so i bought a camaro for 2200

  • nice but 6 bolt all the way man u cant go wrong building the 1st gen 4g63

  • @IoBeoBundy

    A built split-thrust 7-bolt is just as good. :-)

  • @99GSTracer Yes but why not build a lighter cheaper 1g?

  • @IoBeoBundy

Ohh, I have a '91 Talon too. Gutted and caged. It's not street legal like my 2G though.

  • @99GSTracer nice awd or tsi? Mine is a 91 tsi but I only have a 93 octane street tune running 12s on street tires. What you run gutted?

  • @IoBeoBundy

It's a TSi AWD. It's still being built, so I haven't ran it down the 1320 yet.

  • @99GSTracer agreed!:)

  • Fuuuuuck that's a clean-looking Eclipse. I'm trying to get myself a '96 in hopes of getting it to near what yours performs like... Nice car man.

  • get a real car bud !

  • @curtissparker

BAWAHAHAHA! As apposed to a fake car...?

Enlighten me. What do you consider to be a real car?

  • @99GSTracer Its called American Muscle Not rice an the ridiculous

  • @curtissparker

You obviously know nothing about DSMs. I'm making 5.74 horsepower per cubic inch on a factory block and crank. Name one muscle car that is capable of saying that. I have have perfect traction throughtout the gears using an all-wheel drive drivetrain. Muscle car what?

  • the 99' is red right?

  • you got a beautiful eclipse man, nice work

  • Paul, I'm moving into your car...See you in the morning!

  • hey 99gstracer what spoiler is that you got the drag style lip spoiler looks awsome let me know if you remember cheers dude

  • Got it to the dyno yet? I was following the build on tuners quite some time ago.

  • No, not yet. But I'm shooting for sometime in April to dyno the car. This video was running 27 psi on a weak tune. I've since cranked the boost up to 40 psi and tuned the car pretty well. I'm guessing around 600 WHP now. I'll share the dyno video here as soon as April gets here,

  • Cool sounds good, your fabrication skills are amazing, cant wait to see what she does.

I can't wait to get mine tuned. I am hoping for 11s this year on 93 with meth. With a dbb 54 trim. I dunno if she will do it. The car is swapped fully built with JMFab intake manifold.

  • @BLK1997ECLIPSEGSX injector size? I run 11.9 on 850 injectors a 60 trim turbo

  • haha I made an eclipse that looked just like that but different color in need for speed underground when it came out... but at least it'll move.

  • some nice cars

  • oooooooooooo I"m telling PAUL!!!!! lol j/k

  • Yup. Me and a fellow Wiseman, racing down my own personal private driive. ;-)

  • havent seen this car on a diff website......dsmtuners lol

  • Also, for the power and response the compound set-up offers, it could easily run 9's in a lighter chassis. My full weight street car was not built for drag racing - that's why I don't expect it to break any records at the track. The compound set-up wasn't made for drag racing either. It won't do any better at the track than a single turbo DSM making the same power.

  • Thanks for the compliments. I understand your point. It does minimize lag though. I'm seeing the same boost and airflow 1500 RPM sooner than before. That's a huge increase. It spools sooner than the FP3052 car in the video. And I've never been a fan of stroker engines. It's a less desirable rod ratio, and not good for nearly the RPM. Not to mention they seem to be quite a bit more stressful on drivetrain parts.

  • Again I have the utmost respect with what you have done, and the effort, money, and time you have put into this project, just curious, that's all

  • That is very fast, and your work is beyond amazing! With all due respect, this setup-as amazing as it is, does not seem to achieve the goal -to minimize turbo lag. I don't see why you did not just build a 2.3l stroker with a forced performance turbo such as the fp3052,or a FP HTA GT3582R Ball Bearing turbo. It seems that then you would be able to run low tens perhaps high nines is full street car trim ,easily with your current set up and supporting mods i.e- fuel system drivetrain motor etc.

  • I imagine this car would run low tens to high nines on a good tune?

  • I wish. The truth is that it's full weight and runs a summer tire. It will hopefully be a high 10 second car with more boost and good driving.

  • Also, to clarify, the '93 GSX is pretty quick for what it is. At only 20 psi, we estimate that it's in the 11.8-12.2 range in the 1/4 mile.

  • What do you estimate this car to run in the quarter mile? That 93 GSX did not seem to pull as hard as I thought it would with a fp3052, and I expected the compound to take of like a rocket. Can you clarify whp, and how the car will stack up against some supercars? And a quarter mile time if you ever take it there?

  • Neither car has been to the track -yet-. And neither set-up has been on the dyno either. I estimate Dan's car to be somewhere in the 375-400 whp range and the compound car to be about 100 HP more than that. Dan's car is tuned much better right now too. We're still working on the tuning for my 2G. But the B16G primary turbo on the compound set-up is it's limiting factor. It's already met my goals for what I wanted out of it, but it would be nice to hit the 600 whp mark with a little more boost.
