Kof reached its limit at Kof 98, which is the most balanced and skilled one of all the kof games.2002 is another good one because of the different system brought refreshment. after that, there are no more good ones.

They didn't had to do this in the 11 previous sequel, only for the few new characters in each KOF. I doubt that XIII will be better in terms of sprites.

The team system is making a return, and also a line of new characters will be introduced. As such, classic characters Yuri Sakazaki, Mai Shiranui, King, K', MAXIMA, Kula Diamond, and Vice will be making a comeback.

unused / removed characters in the games code: Vice, Hwa, Takuma, a boss, Dark/Orochi(?) Ash, Mai, King, Yuri, Classic Iori, and Billy were all planned and not included. There are 7 more empty spots with no character at all. Thats a total of 17 characters gone from the final version, 10 that had made it to planning and 7 that never even made it to the data. KoF XII was originally planned to be the end of the Ash saga.

Other than the Raiden defect, I think this game looks to be very great, and I love the graphics and artwork of this game much better than the 3D style of SFIV.
