  • Finally! Someone who has a gibson archtop and can actually play it...

  • thank you it's too big for me i am not very tall

  • is this guitar same size as L5 or ES175?

  • @GigglingGirI

No - ES 175 is 16" across, an L-5 is 17" and this is 18" across. Biggest one they make...

  • fantastic ! guitar5* guitar man 5*

  • Awsome sounding guitar!

    I only wish it didn't cost a fortune... ($17,292 on Gibson.com)

  • Great guitar, great playing, great sounds - really enjoyed this and your L4 clip - you need to stop banging and do a bit more twanging :-) Thanks for posting this wonderful stuff!

  • This Guitar is perfect just the way it is

  • are you using flatwound strings here?

  • @reverseengine

Hi - no, they are Elixir roundwound 11's with a plain 3rd. I stopped using flatwounds because of their dynamic limitations; too dull sounding. I find that roundwounds have greater clarity.

  • The guitar is great but I've been looking all over You Tube and your playing and this tune fits right in with some of the very best. And I'm a a big fan of Kenny Burrell, Joe Pass, etc. I didn't get the feeling that it was anyone else's arrangement. This video is a year old. When are you going to put out another one. I can't wait.

  • great playin and a great axe! cheers! :D

  • Wow. those things cost something like £10,000. Well, least you got the best guitar in existance. You also play the guitar really well. Keep up the good work!

  • @AdamFoley19950 Hi Adam, thanks - the Super 4, I got it second hand about 3 years ago; it was nowhere near £10k!!

  • @SirTwangabangalot On gibson's website they are listed at 17,292$ US

  • @magicapricot to be honest, i'm not sure - I have seen books of Wes transcriptions so it should be available somewhere...

  • Nice job!

  • Very beautiful : )

  • Most certainly twangin' and bangin'!

  • I could watch your fingers all day! Very nice.

  • OMG The sound :0 You Reminds me olds films of 60s :

  • Very tasteful and relaxed playing!

Your guitar has a fantastic sound!

  • I wanted to show my nephew the guitar I would own if I could, and yours was the first video I found. When it started I thought "Oh here we go...".

Wow! I'm still picking my jaw off the floor. I quickly forgot the Super 400 and concentrated on the guitarist. Man, that is fine playing! If I could twang and bang a lot like that, I'd be happy. Nice guitar too.

  • Super sweet...

  • Beautiful playing

  • Nice!

    Exquisite as I should say!

That's one nice sounding axe and playing.

  • Yes!!!

  • SWEET!
