Jesus was born in a manger, but mangers were located in family/living rooms. In greek the word that has been translated as "Inn" is κατάλυμά (katalyma) which actually means "a place to stay" (Jesus uses this word in Luke 22) Since Joseph was from the line of David, and Marry was pregnant, they could have easily found a place to stay.

You forget that Jesus was not like most children. In fact, He wasn't like ANY other children, because He never sinned. Children cry because of the sinful nature of man. Jesus did not possess that nature, therefore, it is highly UNlikely that Jesus cried as an infant. He most likely didn't cry until He was much older, when He wept over the fallen world and its rejection of Him. Now, to be sure, the Bible does not say either way, but we can deduce this from what we know about the Lord.
I don't think we should base this belief on the 'Away in a Manger' line. I think, for sure, that Jesus probably cried when He was born... You don't cry coming out of the birth canal because of your sinful nature, but rather because you just entered a whole new world. It's an interesting theological debate either way. But I'm gonna say He probably cried.
Children cry because they have needs, whether it's food, warmth, or a changed diaper. It's the only way they have of telling their parents. As a human baby, Jesus would have had these needs the same as anyone else.
Like mpeske said, crying isn't tied into the sin nature. The things that cause it may be, but not the crying itself.

It really is terrifically well done. I don't know how people are able to believe this stuff to be non-fiction. It smells of fairy tale. But fiction or not, this is a darned good video.

They wanted to know what you used on Mary to make her look pregnant. One child said it was chewed up gum Ha! One little girl said she was going to go home and tell her Mom what Christmas was REALLLY about. Yeah!!! That's what its all about! Happy tears!!! Thank you! May God Bless you and your Christmas!
