I got the Android 2.1-update1 system update two days ago, but my wife and three of my friends that have Droids have not received it yet. My wife's phone was bought at the same time as mine, share the same plan, and we share the same last name obviously, so it appears it is very random on who is getting the update and when.

Verizon's 2 dropped calls in a year to AT&T's innumerable dropped calls. I go with Verizon. Although i am unhappy with both of them for different reasons. I want another Droid:(

It would be nice to have an Android phone, but I've got AT&T and I got my iPhone before I found out that AT&T is releasing 5 Android phones this year. And I just got my iPhone in January, so I gotta wait another 20 or so months lol. I wish there was a way to speed up my contract.

@y35n00b5 Copy and Paste rights? How does that affect your use of the phone or system at all? Even Apple get sued over patents. Verizon has the best coverage period.

A reason why i think Verizon sucks is because they charge a lot for their services.

You have yet to give a legitimate reason as to why you don't like the phone or the software. here and example "droid keyboard sucks".

See? sound reasons something that will effect you're usage.

droids wont be getting the 3d launcher as with the nexus one. from what i read, all android phones with a physical keyboard wont get the 3d launcher, because you cant use the launcher in portrait mode....which is retarded

can you show a video in ese53 showing web browsing... is it still extremely laggy like in 2.0.1 (choppy when scrolling due to AA) or smooth like in 2.0.... still waiting for this fix!

@KompressorV12 I'm running the ESE53 and the browser is blazing fast and the multitouch is smooth as silk (not glitchy or choppy at all, just as good as iPhone). Plus, the antialiasing is perfect. Trust me, it's not laggy at all. You'll love it.
