I can see this being a popular song because of the quality of the music, its slowness, and its lyrics. It has a sophisticated sounding arrangement and melody. The lyrics grab you and make you feel what is being said. For me, it is definitely a song that stands out for the Honkies. Perhaps when you are partying at a bar, it doesn't, but when listening to a good recording at home, it does.
