bichromate is quiete a nasty chemical, when the gum bichromate is dry is it safe to handly with out gloves?

Se l'acqua viene poi trattata con sodio iposolfito il cromo diventa trivalente e quindi non pericoloso.

I am interested to know the materials, board? canvas? is the white a primer? what kind of paint is the red? is this a classic black and white gum bichromate? How archival is this process/are these materials? What about layering?
