  • My cat swallowed most of the string (after I stowed it according to instructions on the box.) Luckily, I noticed what was happening and intervened. I later called the manufacturer with a suggestion to improve safety, but was told to wrap the string around the door knob - no cat could unwrap it. (My cat can.) Next, she tried to assign me the blame , then questioned my IQ and insisted there was no need to change the design, repeatedly stating you cant please all customers. Shes right!

  • I'm off to buy this toy tomorrow. Will hopefully post videos to show its effects soon. :)

  • Excellent point. The manufacturer recommends (on the box it comes in) supervising play with the Fling-ama-String. When play time is done, simply stop the unit while the string is "hidden" on the back side of the belt. We've had great results following their recommendation. :)

  • My Marley would tear it to bits and swallow the string. Once he got ahold of it. But supervised, this would be a good toy.
