@majorgunnyJR you have to beat it on devil hunter. if its your first time playing dmc4 play on human first so you can level up your chars.

I don't liek using jump cancel. Not because I hate the idea of it, mostly because I'm not really "me" when I play using jump cancels. But this is helping me alot, thank you.

dont know if you noticed but some enemies werent trying to attack when they had the chance. other than that nice video. some of these moves you showed i had trouble with but you make it look so easy.

@AquosSlash Hold R1, Forward + Circle in Gunslinger mode. You may need to have a higher level Gunslinger to shoot more, I don't know.

How do you do the million stabs right off the bat i.e. without dashing or attack button combinations

@lilmurfer You still do the dash attack, but since it's at point blank range, it turns into the million stabs.

Hit R1, forward towards direction of enemy + triangle but let go of forward right after you hit triangle.

well a very very good interrupt hit for frosts is the uppercut move from Gilgamesh in swordmaster, and they just fly straight up so they fall back down in front of your feet so that you can load a pretty strong combo on them - I prefer that instead of stinger-ing all the time... but maybe you are more practised to the stinger because it really always works, even on DT'd ones

I hate frosts and assaults too. They're such a pain on the later modes. But at least frosts don't go jumping around you like excited children [?] haha.

as frigging awesome as you are at this game, its better to jump over the knight dudes as opposed to hit their shields

Actually, I hit their shields to break them on purpose. Gives you 1 DT bar and adds to the style meter.

See my later videos. I learned how to Royal Release against their shields. This video's old - need to release a new one to reflect my new approach to some of these enemies.

Hey, doesn't mean I don't listen. For example, I've been playing for a year and thanks to someone who commented on my vids, i learned mashing on the Buster button (circle on PS3 controllers) as Nero versus Blitz does extra hits.

What was the sayingg? Even the eldest master can learn from the youngest child. Or something like that.

@Keirnoth lol, i beat this entire thing by using two items-prop shredder(throws ANY enemy into the air) and real impact, plus a special effect of turning on and off DT while doing a real impact, which causes the attack power to double. i've seen a person do it-it helped them kill a DMD mode blitz in 11 SECONDS.

I have DMC4 on the xbox and it's frustrating to change styles midway, since you have to press it precisely or it quickly changes to another style or goes to darkslayer. Damn controller button!

Thanks a lot. There are adapters out there that let you use a PS2 controller on an X360. Might want to check out eBay for those.

Yeah. It's a mode where monsters have normal HP, but you die in one hit. Challenging and frustrating.

Yep. Used Fraps to capture it. Had to tone down some of the graphics esttings to get it to capture properly.

DMC4 will work with that, but you're going to have to turn down a LOT of settings. I strongly suggest getting a used 8800GT. That should be more than enough to play this game.

You play very well. I try to record DMC4 using fraps, but my PC keeps crashing the second I record. So I had to use Xfires capture method. Looks great in HD man. Gj with the walkthough. Takes skill to get through this mode. Ive only gotten to stage 83 with Nero. I was pretty bummed when I had gotten that far..and I havent tried in a long while. Hopefully I'll get through later on..in life. lol-

I appreciate your kind words. I got a majority of it done - I just need to upload stages 61-80. I wish the SD version of these vids didn't look like crud. But HD is HD. I took on BP with Nero first, took me a LONG time to get around to learning Dante. He's hard to use.
