  • went away from this song for several years. listening to it today immediately bought back the feelings of how grateful I am to God, the creator of all. I imagine myself with my wings restored, flying over the world and universe with no fear and only peace. No pain, no coldness, no need for oxygen apparatus, no need for rest, just contentment and joy. Thank you E.S. Posthumus

  • Perfect to fall asleep to

  • when ever hear this i feel like crying in a good way...

  • Can any one tell me what key this is in? I want to learn how to play this on my piccolo but can not find any sheet music any where for it.

  • @vagetoanima it's in the key with 3 flats. xD i forgot what it's called, but i have the sheet music for it. 3 flats.

  • @fiddlefiend If it has 3 flats, it's either Eb major or C minor. :)

    I could be mistaken, though.

  • Capital of the Inca Empire <3

  • I feel like I can live forever when listening to this :D

  • I associate this song with How to Train your Dragon. Toothless and Hiccup flying or playing in the grasses of a cliff. I don't know why, but it's the imagery I get. I shall have to make a video.

  • your disclaimer is a little humble, perhaps u can make awesome tunes too?

  • His most underrated song, no question!

  • chill out n relax =]

  • love their music...its so beautiful...

  • This song is played when a long grueling battle comes to an end and the heroes settle back down to their normal lives/

  • i listen to this song when im depressed

  • This song is amazing! It has a special "soul" that are VERY rare...

I first heard this song long time ago, in eolithics clan movie(cs).

Thanks to sonyericssons TrackID i found this <3

  • @Thoms1809 Absolutely. The kind that sends chills down your spine no matter how many times you listen to it.

There are some movie scores that do it for me, and, surprisingly, a few songs by Angels & Airwaves have a surprising soul to them as well. Nothing like this song, though.

  • I love this. Something about it is just so beautiful and calming. Makes you look at the little things in life and appreciate them alot more :) If only this music could stop all the fighting in the world.

  • Using it for walking into my wedding reception, right when it kicks in at 0:42

  • Really!?

That's amazing - I hope you and your love a good and long life together :)

  • @thekrishna thats sweet. for me the intro brings feelings of new discovery and images of maybe a shy lion cub opening its eyes and peering outside the den at a great land of opportunity. a future you feel comfortable with. i wish you good luck friend.

  • That was great! Somehow my dogs felt themselves (or me) much better, and while listening to the music, they came to me, and gave me loving kisses and smiles. This song knows someting.. it takes the hearts closer. Somehow... :) Thanks.

  • such a beautiful song <3

  • I have this song on my mp3 player... it's very good music to draw to, especially if you're drawing a hero... or heroine... or anything heroic.

  • beautiful, exciting. it makes me think a lot

  • Very Irish-sounding

  • @beantown4776 I think it sounds more greek.

  • GREAT !!!!! TANKS FOR SHARE :)

  • This is a beautiful song or melody.

  • i chance upon this genre of music just now and i love it. beautiful...beautiful...

  • It's called orchestral. Amazing stuff, isn't it?

  • i started to hear 'Unstoppable' with them, and now I just loove their music.. :D it gets better and better for each piece I hear..

  • I am really starting to LOVE E.S., it all started with ebla, then i listened to nara and now i have listened to alot of there stuff and I really like it

  • Lol. Same here. My husband introduced E.S Posthumus to me. x3

  • He's a keeper. :3

  • i love th es posthumus! i have their unearthed album, such a great addition to my music collection!

  • Gilles De Rais? As in the child serial killer? I'm positive that it is not.

  • Yeah lol, if it was Gilles De Rais it would be Beelzebub or some demon trying to contact him, not an angel.

  • Yes, he used to dress his victims as angels and hang them from the ceiling.

No, that's actually the upper portion of "The Inspiration of Saint Matthew" by Caravaggio. The painting is part of a series on Saint Matthew.

  • i may be mistaken, but that dosn't even look like de rais. also, not one song's name is located in or near france, so i dont see why him, especially a serial killer, would be on there. it is some european scholar, proably from rome since that was a center of learning and knoledge.

  • there is no lie or truth there is only understanding. there is more knowledge in this universe than can fit into one head. we should all respect eachother better as a race. music like this invokes epiphanies of peace.

  • E.S. POSTHUMUS FOREVER!!!

  • this song makes me start thinking about life, and how you have to just live it to the fullest! love e.s. posthumus. i got this album for christmas, i listen to it all the time! thank you cold case for introducing me to this kind of music!!!!

  • E.S. Posthumus got da best music eva

i random find it when i was browsing a pivot animation (an art also check my vids and comment) but those tracks are fenomenal damn it

  • What the hells wrong with youtube, that last comment was supposed to be a reply to rogerthat155.

  • damn this song´s great. i remember it from the credits of the eol video.

    more of this pls.

  • Whats weird is this music makes me feel like im high lol...es posthumus is my new drug! :)

  • E.S. Posthumus is WONDERFUL.

Flaming them is pure stupid. If they do they have no taste for music at all so f-ck them.

I love every song they've made and all. Also, I love the theme they have with their songs. Like wikipedia says, "In keeping with the theme of "all things past", each of the thirteen tracks on the album (unearthed) is named after an ancient or long-standing city."

Creative and all. Every song has a meaning in it.

  • true tht

  • i can't get over how amazing e.s. posthumus is like seriously all of their music is incredible

  • lol, sorry, that didn't post right. That was supposed to be in response to Darkblyth's comment. (kinda new to posting...blush)

  • amazing song. i just love it ^_^ i always lissen to E.S. Posthumus when i want a calm time for myself like i do now

  • this is so wonderful

  • do they sell this record in stores?

  • i just got a copy off ebay. welly worth it.

  • Wowz, EezleD just PAWNED mileyfan805 /clap /clap /clap /clap.

  • Nods. *clap, clap, clap*

  • how can you not like Es posthumus?

  • You'd have to be deaf, or stupid.

  • Amazon

  • Miley Cyrus oriented little girls have no real taste for music. I'm not surprised.

  • no m8, TRY to get an 8-11 year old girl into ES posthumus, without putting it into a disney film.

just try. its like trying to get a Granny into Pinhead Circus.

thanks for uploading this btw, my sisters may not like it but i love it :P

  • Im 12 and I listen to instrumental, classical and new age. The retards at my school think Im weird.

  • dude its because there so into all of that new shit on the radio like lil wayne and what not. you just have great taste in music :)

  • ...and the thing about that is a lot of people listen to that music because there best friend does or the popular kid in school does. I found out about those genres absolutely by myself, and lots of help from the internet(people use the songs in music videos). Then I pick up from there. I HAD TO DEAL WITH "SOULJA BOY" ALL THE TIME WHEN I WAS IN SCHOOL FOR 2 MONTHS. He doesn't even make sense half the time.

  • That is soo true. But I'm like you: I also don't understand why people need the confirmation of their friends to know which music they like. My sincer sympathy for having to listen to this... But honestly. I don't have a right to judge people who like it. As THEY don't have a right to judge US to listen to new age (or any kind of "classical" or "realxing" music:))

My friends think it's weird too...

  • Actually, some of my music is very loud and intense,(with drums) but some of it is so quiet I have to raise the volume all the way.

  • awfully one sided 'soulja' boy has things to say if you relate. if you don't then fine but being aggressively one sided... hm. i think all music rocks.

  • Hah. How the crap can you relate to supermanning hoes? or YAH TRICK!

Oh yeah, the world IS full of stupidity, guess that can easily relate to soulja boy.

  • I am only aggressively one sided because the the other side is. One person ruins it for everyone, because they start spreading that mentality. If you took someone who knows nothing about music, hasn't heard it, or even of it, they will most likely like all music.

  • If it duplicates the Koran, then it is superfluous, if it contradicts it, then it is blasphemy.

  • I don't care. Spread your religion some place else.

  • That was a quote from Babars, Mameluke of Egypt, Offered as his justification for burning the library of Alexandra.

    I am on your side.

  • "I am only aggressively one sided because the other side is."

And that's how the status quo is preserved :P

  • well maybe not all esp when i got noodles going cold trying to find something to watch and that rick roll bullcrap

  • all music is made by the artists liking, they wouldnt make a song they hate, E.S. Posthumus are into this kind of music, so they make it. Other people also like it, and i tell you not all there music is like this. If u ask any artist i bet they will say they love the style of music they create.

  • listen 2 pompeii and ull c wat i mean by not all there music is like this

  • its all epic :D

  • just listen to whatever feels right to you man :) just cos they listen to different things dont mean they retards but to be honest with u alot of people only listen to music cos someone ELSE does or cos the cool kids do, its lame huh

  • @Wastedgrunt One of my friends at school who's about your age and listens to that kind of music so you're not alone on that one. ^__^

  • @EezleD Glad that I'm a 'big girl' (14) then!

  • Grow a brain, then come back later.

  • @mileyfan805

    Okay.

Then go back to your Miley Cyrus/Justin Bieber/What is this i don't even/Mainstream shit.

    :|

  • I feel happier and happier. It's their best song, far better than the other songs and they are also great.

  • i like their song Nara.

  • Have they got any bad tracks?

  • not a one :)

  • nope

  • This song reminds me of how the end of the world has come, everything is dead no matter what. and then we are reborn into a whole new world, the things we regret are gone and now we are happy again, no wars, no pollution and theyre unlimited animals and everything else <33 this is soo nice i love this song

  • yep, must agree, bestsong from this album

  • best song ever ;(

  • My favorite piece on the album...and I love them all

  • great song !

  • Absolutely the best of E.S. Posthumus...just epic.

  • beautiful.
