I don't get it. Does your work or doesn't it? I t appears not to work in the video, but I don't know if you're pulling the trigger all the way back. But your description says that it works fine. I have a 24/7, an older one, it's got some problems, but it's functional.
@AmericanMade72 Please note as I push the safety on while the trigger is pulled back at :15. Please note the heavy jerking motion at :18 :19 and :20 which is me pulling back on the trigger really hard and the firing pin still not releasing like on defective older models. Wow, I really didn't think I would have to explain that one but here you go.
Closing the action without breaking it's fall will eventually damage this model of gun - I own one. Sure it looks "cool", but if you're at all concerned about the longevity and reliability of the gun, I would get out of that habit.
@KYChamp Actually they are designed to slam back into place like that, what do you think happens when a round is fired through this or any pistol, the slide is retracted back, a new round is shoved in the chamber & the slide is again slammed back into position.

The new Generation Taurus pistols and revolvers are a lot better quality. They are finally getting the idea that is what the market demands.

@KYChamp You had a good point, you should have left it at that instead of going on an insulting tirade assuming more things that weren't true.

@KYChamp not sure why you would assume a single demonstration in a video as a "habit" but thanks for the comment none the less.
