LOVE, LIFE, AND A SINGER WHO HAS A VOICE OF AN ANGEL ,AND HAS GIVEN ALL OF US THE PRIVILEGE OF HEARING ELVIS SING. GOOD MAN WHO GAVE US HAPPINESS AND HIS VOICE WILL ALWAYS FLOW THROUGH OUR VEINS
Elvis was at his most comfortable singing these spiritual songs. He was, according to
Priscilla, a very deep, quiet, serious person. This, of course, is not the popular conception of Elvis. Elvis used to go to his special place, to find as much peace and
sanctuary as he could. He was a wonderful singer, and gave to many charities. I love his music, and hope he has found his own idea of heaven now, with his twin brother, mumum and dad. Bless you Elvis for the love you gave.xxx.
Elvis a racist just stupid look at quotes from Ali, James Brown, BB King and his back up singers the sweets so please this man was great. He didn't see color
This song is what made me realize that Elvis was not the racist everyone claimed he was --- why would a bigot sing a song with such obvious references to MLK?! Besides no man who was this pretty could be a bigot!!!!
I like Public enemy. Songs like Black Steel in the hour of Chaos, By the Time I get to Arizona and The Night oof the Baseheads are all great songs but that lyric from Fight The power is fucking retarded.
The year was 1977. I was 6 years old and Elvis died in August of that year. They ran this special as a tribute to him. It was my first time seeing and hearing of him...thus begun my 33 year love affair with Elvis Presley...my very first "crush". RIP Elvis.
HE WAS THE KING, IS THE KING, AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE KING! ANY DOUBTS WATCH THIS AGAIN.

@Animosity4UandU
The only reason people consider him a racist is because of a few unproven claims and the second verse of Fight the Power by Public Enemy.

@TheMichaelseymour I gotta say ....how cool but weird it is that you like elvis & public enemy ....
then again i like everything from hank Williams to anthrax and zappa .
What do you think of the counter claims of reverse racism in groups like public enemy ?
I would be curious to know your opinion . cheers .
