Jack Russell: Post-Bath

This is one of the many hilarious things my JRT does. She is running along the backs of the couches and just going full out sprint in every room in the house. She is a riot.

My 19yr JRT used to this all the time after bath... they have their five mins of madness then calm down and look at you as if to say now you may dry me off!!!

my jack cannot stand taking baths, when he hears running water or the word bath he bolts, but he loves playing in the ocean and rapids go figure.

My dog goes berzerk and rubs her back and side on our leather couch... I think she is a cat!

All dogs do that after being wet, to camouflage their odor. Usually in the grass of anything smelly.

Your couch is probably covered by your sweat, and the dog is trying to get that odor on him.
