And NO, northern Indians don't look like Persians because they mixed with middle-easterns or persians but because they are Devayasnis(RIG VED), the other offshoot clan of Arya apart from mazdayasnis(zoroastrians). I hav rarely ever heard an iranian or say persian ever knowing 'Rig Ved' & I instead hear all sorts of ridiculous stories of some Persian rule all over India and india being 90% persian & God knows what not! I dont understand why you folks are creating strange ideas about us south iranians. First of all southern Iran (from Khuzestan province all the way to Hormozgan even parts of Fars, Lorestan, and Bakhtiari/Lor speaking areas are all part of southern Iran, and bandaris adopted many of those cultures, Perhaps its not strange if it sometimes reminds you of lori, african, balochi, indian and arabic because bandari people have all those influences in their genes and cultures! End of story!

I'm not creating strange ideas. I love Bandari people and I know their dance is influenced by many cultures. I've just seen original Bandari dance many times (I'm Iranian) and I thought that some parts of this dance weren't very typical/representative of it. That is all :)
