You must not be a huge Metallica fan. That's Jason Newsted. He was their bassist from Justice to Reload, and was on 3 live DVD's that I can remember, this one, Cunning Stunts, and S&M, and in my opinion, was their best bassist. The man can play good, and his backing vocals brought more power to their songs.

Back in High School (mid-Eighties) we went to see these guys whenever they came to the Bay Area, CA. I must have seen the "And Justice for All" show 5 or 6 times. They use to own Heavy Metal. I have to agree with "actaylorr", Lars has worsened over the years.
