It must be a variation of "Bob Dylan's Dream", those two are so familiar. Doesnt make this one her one bit less magnificient, so full of thruth and greatness.
Absolutely the best version of this spectacular song. Bruce has so, so many great songs but in so many ways, this is his best as it touches me in so may ways. Can't believe this performance was left off the NYC DVD.
This man is a genius. His first album was released two decades before I was born, but in my opinion he is the greatest songwriter of all time. His music is just brilliant...and as for E-Street..now THAT is what you call a band.
@mirkobruner He cries because of his feelings for the band and how he had mistreated them in the 90's. At least, that's what I think! The last verse has been changed as the studio version is very disrespectful to the boys.

Seguramente no haya nadie a quien no se le pongan los pelos de punta al oir este impresionante tema de toda esta pedazo de familia. Os quiero chavales.
Is the final verse different than the original?,this is an incredible version, this song is so much more powerful now that Danny's gone, thanx for this.
I was there that night. Even up in the rafters, this moment welled me up big time. Not the best Bruce Springsteen concert I've ever seen, but by far the most emotional.
oh i remember my first springsteen concert...waited 11 hours in line and got to the 1st row... they came out and started with Two Hearts, before Radio Nowhere (which btw sounds awsome live)..
Poor viewing what more do you have to give to people without force feeding them, great song some people can only listen to the music and not hear the music.
Dedicated in memory of my long lost friend and blood brother ANDY MAC R.I.P
It makes me angry when you watch and hear quite possibly one of the greatest songs ever written and performed live only has a few thousand views.. music like this doesnt come around everyday and you have idiots like lady Gaga having millions of hits.. Bruce is the Boss a legend that will live forever!!
No need for anger, nothing's for everybody, and people ultimately tend to consume whatever is put in front of them on a daily basis, and forced upon them with a sledgehammer.
But what a privilige it is to find something that you truly and utterly love, something that accompanies you through life, something that in the best and worst of times gives you a sense of place, direction and as The Boss himself once put it: "a home you can feel a part of".
@mooreunited Don't worry, Lady Gaga will disappear into nothingness, the Boss will remain! Besides, why people talk about Lady gaga? because she's a weirdo. Why people talk about the Boss? because of his music!
@1985Fla She's not even a weirdo, all that nonsense comes from her agent, she is a creation of some big time music execs who dreamed her up one day over a Diet Pepsi and a spring roll.
@mooreunited Just be thankfull you have the intellectual capacity to understand this music. :) And let all those idiots bath in their own ignorance. I actually feel sorry for some of those poor bastards
@mooreunited Feel special. Bruce is, Lady Gaga isn't; those who appreciate Bruce are, and those who don't see that Lady Gaga is crap have no hope. Don't be angry, just accept that many people don't get it and never will, and that it probably won't change. And whatever you do, don't be superior.
Bruce is a song writer but more importantly a songwriter that echos the human condition so perfectly that it is hard to understand how he understands it all. I have seen more Springsteen concerts than I can remember dating back to when he toured PA and played small clubs/bars mostly. I can't think of any other artist that I would stop whatever I was doing to listen to. No question in my mind, he is the Boss.
@mooreunited I certainly agree that Bruce is the greatest songwriter of all-time, but who gives a shit if everyone isn't into this? Let them have their Gaga and Bieber. It's like demanding everyone subscribe to the same religion... never works and doesnt matter.
@mooreunited AGREED - but Bruce has hundreds of versions of the same song in 1000 of venues ....he has more youtube counts together than any GAGA , GOGO , GIGI person together... he woke up with the voice...not trying to trash Lady G (i like her songs)...but out of 50 people there's one with a GAga talent and voice...out of 100 000 there's maybe one with a voice like that...maybe..! plus songwriting and band leadership + guitar , through the roof !!!
Man....Danny and Clarence must be watching this form above. It is painful for me to go and see Bruce without both of them, it hurts.

Bruce is the Boss a legend that will live forever!!
mooreunited 2 years ago 131
@mooreunited But in a few years lady gaga will be gone gone gone. And replaced by a new hit machine that also will be gone

@mooreunited
Nicely edited by the way. Peace

@mooreunited i'm sure if youtube was aroudn in the mid 80's, the boss would have millions of hits.

@mooreunited I love Springsteen and Gaga. It's all about taste.

Gatsby999888 1 year ago 2
@mooreunited AGREED - but Bruce has hundreds of versions of the same song in 1000 of venues ....he has more youtube counts together than any GAGA , GOGO , GIGI person together... he woke up with the voice...not trying to trash Lady G (i like her songs)...but out of 50 people there's one with a GAga talent and voice...out of 100 000 there's maybe one with a voice like that...maybe..! plus songwriting and band leadership + guitar , through the roof !!!
