  • And the interior of the church today looks more like a movie theater than a Catholic place of worship. Go to FatherJeffery's channel, they post videos of masses from there; check em out and you'll see what I mean.

  • The good news is that the cathedral that replaced this one is far more beautiful! Sadly, the music didn't survive.

  • Utterly amazing. Few born after 1954 realize how beautiful and ornate the previous cathedral was. That sheer beauty is evident even after the devastation of the unfortunate fire. Thank you for sharing these photos!
