  • So much emotion. Makes me think of sad times in my life.

  • This one actually has comments, check out desintergration and storm by the same band

  • @noordwinter -- yes thank you -- Nell Sigland from june 2004 -- very nice vocals.

  • Who's the singer?

  • @JosephKrammer I believe its Liv Kristine of Norway.

  • I miss the 90's Goth friends I never made.

  • hey u mother fuckers don't compare theatre of tragedy with anything FUCK U ALL!!!!!

  • 0:46 pretty picture

  • amazing song, video and lyrics...

  • new poem Dead tears Buried behind your eyes Your hairs like leaves from a cemetery Absorb the moisture of whom Reply a lifetime in front of a picture Your heart your perpetual tomb You can meet them all over again Because they are all strangers now Admire the dream that created you Worship the nightmare that raised you
  • This is an amazing album.

  • very sad but beautiful feeling, well thats what gothic music is all about right.

  • Be nice if he'd go back to his growls instead of his current style of singing, just throws it all off and has less a tragedy effect and more of theatre effect. Maybe they should just call themselves theatre.

The band went to shit after Aegis.

  • Why are so many people comparing Nightwish to Theatre of Tragedy and Within Temptation??? They sound nothing alike, Nightwish is symphonic power metal. Theatre of Tragedy is gothic metal. Within Temptation is symphonic rock/metal who were mistakenly thought to be gothic metal. Even Sharon den Adel said they were not a gothic metal band, but a symphonic rock band.

  • love the lyrics... lots of meaning

  • gay

  • Let's all shut up okay... I listen to ToT, NW, Within Temptation an more... I love them all and they all sound different in some ways

  • this is my music favorite of theatre of tragedy

  • She is very good!

Here's my opinion : in Theatre of Tragey Liv's voice was not getting enough attention. in Leave's Eyes her voice goes perfectly and the accent is on her :)

oh well i was and i will stay a fan of Theatre Of Tragedy...

  • itsofn teh miusic fantastica is beutigful and fantastic

  • I just can't believe it is over.

    Hurts so much.

  • i like more the old TOT stuff

  • I agree with visse90 there's a huge difference.IT's like comparing NW to Within Temptation which i listen to both. Totally different sound. THis more of a Within Temptation or Delain. But look on the bright at least no one is comparing them to Evanescence on here.

  • Why Everyone compares everything with nightwish, who do that dont knows NW really!

  • This album is incredible

  • favorite from the album

  • szacun

  • they grew up

  • non mi piace...

  • Beautiful Song

  • no more gothic, is a different kind of gothic, if you know T O T you must know that they like to make new things in each new album, but the message and the spirit are gothic ever

  • Definetly agree with you. The same happened with Tristania, in a sadder way.. I miss the classical gothic style too... =(

  • i think you are part right, but remember that goth a way of thinking and looking at things, and the songs have that spirit. maybe their sound changed and their image, but they still goth

  • @xfernydrummerX I agree, metal evolved, rock evolved, so will our beloved goth music. it all depends on the beholder of coarse..

  • @isolado2 that's very true

  • @isolado2

classical gothic metal is still here, its just more underground now there are still loads of bands making very beautiful music, though I must agree what happened with Tristania after Vibeke is a tragedy I was a huge huge fan

  • @snajamh Well, according to "Nightwish" (at least the keyboard playing guy), they were initially inspired by ToT, and early NW really sounds kinda similar to ToT. As for "Tristania", I'm annoyed because of what that band has become. Or not.

  • the last album is more gothic imo ...

  • i doubt that 1

  • i miss their old classical gothic style.

A glass ( u know regular glass maybe 400ml 6 fresh Peppermint leaves ( place in palm of hand and then slap it once with the other to bring out the flavour ) ice ( some ) and top it off with gingerale. The utmost intelligence at it's best.

  • xaxa okk :P have a nice day :D

  • lol have a nice day back. x

  • Love This Song

  • why does HIM suck? cuz they sold millions of albums and havent changed their sound completely like some bands have? they have evolved their sound but i havent notice a sudden change ever. They never sold out and still arent 100 percent mainstream in the states so why do they suck? I like them.

  • selling yourself a lot and being known by girls because Ville is beatiful is being sold out....

i can even have a HIM trademarked condom.

    I DONT DISSLIKE HIM!

  • I love both WT and ToT

    Hail from Indonesia!

  • IT is such a pretty song

  • nice song

  • Beautiful voices !

  • wooow....!

  • Nell Sigland is amazing... i love Liv too

  • the voice of an angel :D

  • Nell was a pretty decent replacement for Liv. Her voices goes well with their new sound.

  • oh please! Do you have to spam?!

  • du mal vellho

    :)

  • what is the name of the girl i cant remember

  • The girl is called Nell Sigland and she replaced Liv Christine...

  • hmm there's a mistake in the tags, it's not Liv Kristin ;)

  • Luving these guys, proud that i have taken a bath in heins bathroom.

  • well the ignorant people says stupid opinions

    nw is like a poem

I like nw and theatre but they are so differents.

and who ever listen nightwish, the child or the adult people, they are listening good music.

so for me and many years letter I like theatre and nightwish

  • I think it's childish to say like this. Nw rules, ToT rules! And, I'm agree, Him sucks. But that's all just our opinion, because music it's sound simbols of our significance system.

  • Shouldn't you grow up? People who give a damm what others think are wussies.

  • Storm is a very good album, Senseless,Debris,Storm,Fade,Ashes and Dreams or Silence are very goods.

  • Has nothing to do with Nightwish!

  • LOL, just because its symphonic and has a female singer it doesnt means it a nightwish copy. NW is power, this is gothic and its a great difference, so just shut the fuck up. And besides...

theatre of tragedy was founded 5 years before nightwish.

  • I meant that they got a new singer who is great but changes the style just ma little. Don't get so pissed! I never said they were copying Nightwish.

  • ToT was still founded 5 years before NW ._.

  • I think he's just drawing parallels betweent the two bands, so being founded 5 years before is irrelevant to the fact that similar events happened to the band.

Just trying to help clarify =)

  • @Visse90 it was so true!!! they r olschool...

  • awesome!

  • the song is so beautiful, it always makes me want to cry for some reason.

  • I love this song. "Ashes and Dreams", "Silence", and "Debris" are my current favorite songs =)

  • Velvet darkness they fear es doom, animal.

  • Kzaizert, que dices...claro que el lp velvet darkness they fear es goth, los theatre of tragedy son goth... De doom escuchate por ejemplo a los My Dying Bride, yo te recomendaria los lp: As de flowers withers,The angel and de dark river, Trinity,Like gods of the sun...

  • liv isnt the one who sings in this vid, its nell.

  • This is one of my favorite songs.

  • wonderfull

  • me gusta =)
