It's such a strange choice of music, but at the same time it fits so well! I've been listening to Bond for years and have this song on my IPod, but I've never thought of using it like this. Much better than all the rock or heavy metal I always hear with these kind of scenes. Now I'll only be shocked if somebody makes a fight scene MV with country music...
the song is at the bottom right of the video, honestly am I crazy or am i the only one who pays attention to it. This youtube user has better things to do with their time then keep answering what song is this what song is this. people it's under the video lmao.
The best thing about Equilibrium finale was the final confrontation between Preston and Brandt. After the tension that was build between those two characters throughout the whole movie, after the training scene, we all expected epic and evenly-matched duel. Yet, the only thing we received was a few strikes :)
That was so non-cliche, and anti-climatic, that it immediatly become one of my favourite battle scenes in cinema history:)

The awesome thing is, is that these scenes were so perfectly timed with the music that it almost appears to be one big dance.

The song sounds, at the beginning, very much like the 90's X-Men cartoon intro.
