Why didn't PK know this man? He was in the prison for years. The one who gave a cup of water to Morgan's Freeman's character after the bully made him eat poop. And this young Africian man who challenges PK is his nanny's son, whom he(in the movie) nursed along side of. In the book she nursed PK and was taken away from her own son for six years. .What a bloody mess. . .
My God. I saw this in school 20 years ago and thought it was brilliant. Now I see it for the rubbish it is. Rubbish fight scenes, it does boxing a great disservice. Utter kack.
@EBIKE100 The fighting is a mere sub-plot in this film. The fighting only comes into play because of the social justice being pushed against the law of the apartheid, by P.K., Gideon, and the boxing coach Hoppie, which is when Jaapie, who happened to bully P.K. when younger, comes back into the picture of things enforcing the law. The link with Jaapie at the beginning of the film and at the end, in both cases being the "bad" guy, is where the boxing really comes in. It's all about the Apartheid.
Steven Dorff as a 1940's schoolboy looks cool - or do I mean hot - particularly towards the end, in the open-neck grey shirt.

Where is Daniel Craig in this film?

@Akus75038 Go to 4:55 in Part 11. He plays the older Jaapie Botha, the oldest kid at young P.K.'s boarding school, later a cop.
