I bought the Raask "Roadster" mufflers that look just like these for my '07 Thruxton and I'm already kind of wishing I would have gone with the Norman Hyde Pea shooters. Perfect grunt and the look is all there, which I think the Preds lack. Beautiful bike.
Thanks much. I really enjoy the Bonnie with the NH Peashooters. It is a nice "Norton Commando" look which I was looking for. They are holding up nicely and seem to get a bit throatier with age. Thanks for the comments and have a great summer!
just took a few minutes to find some raask videos/sound clips...looks to me like you got a great set up! have you specifically posted any videos since the install?
Just got the 08 EFI... loving it!! Looking at the Tors, what do you think of them? Your blike sounds brilliant, the Hyde exhausts expensive??? What price? Im from down under.
congrats on your 08! sweet ride! The TORS weren't loud enough for me and not enough "snap". The NH Togas and Peashooters are a bit louder/snappier. Looking at about $550 US for any NH exhaust.
Those pipes sound GREAT too! I take it that you've got a carbed Bonneville (we Brits are getting EFI'd ones now). Did you rejet the carbs? Was it the Triumph jets? If so, does the bike run well on them?
Thanks again! I really could not choose between the bikes. They are both phenomenal and an absolute blast. Yup, carbed. Rejetted with Triumph Jets. K&N filter, pulled out the snorkel, Main Jet went from a 110 (stock) to a 118, added one shim under the needle and three turns out on the mixture screw vs. two (stock). Runs amazingly strong. Almost 600 miles on her, off for her first service on Wed. I have yet to see an EFI-ed version yet. I bet they are sweet. Just fill 'er up and go!!

Cheers. Im in L.A. at the moment, and heading to British Customs.. heard of them? They say they are building some new Bonni custom exhausts which are superior to the Hydes. Very tempting... any thoughts?

The Roadster clip? I've seen a bunch of Minizooms, but not the Norton styled Raask pipes. We'll see here in two days.
