@catkong7 well that was better said... and no, me playing for 25 years doesn't dismiss anything, just letting you know i've been around the block a few times... ... ... personally i love a ton of different music (even Winger-Reb), diff covers or songs, anything that's a piece of real music or a different take on it... ... ... the one thing about Jimi's guitar being in tune though... he used to use that whammy relentlessly and if you've ever played a Strat they are notorious for going out of tune

@catkong7 Man, you're dumb. A lot of people refine their technique as athletes by watching other people play, and same goes for musicians. And the blues scene that Hendrix played in for many years before becoming a star was not the tight-assed copyright music industry of today. People would use other peoples riffs and tunes and incorporate it with their own stuff all the fuckin time, and it was a gamble whether it was your own stuff or someone else's that would make you famous.
