What I like about this show is that it's less about the "paranormal investigation" and more about the reaction of the contestants. Oh, they TELL them they're investigating the paranormal, but the audience knows it's pretty much bullshit. It's the psychological bit that I enjoy, not necessarily the "ghost" part.
As for why you'd be scared? A lack of light plus a little imagination is a very powerful thing.
IT IS A VER POWERFUL thing as you said, imagination and your senses can act up in the dark, GOD knows as KIDS we all did that from time to time! But we were never in a place where many died and like this so. This might be 100 times worse man, think of that too from the stories and so on.
I have been to this place and it is very creepy. I did feel a cold spot in the sugar shack and it was very freaky. There are lots of bats in that place as well.
Tarp looks fucking terrifying, never saw what the girl meant when she said "looks like someone is under there" Because they never really showed it on the last video, but on this video pause at :08 at it really looks terrifying, like a huge guy under the tarp. I gotta give the black dude props for working up the nerve to pull it off, even if he did scream like a little bitch while doing it, lol. He did it, that's what matters.
