  • Finally someone gets the cover right. Good job.

  • Also go to NBC Saturday Night Live. Iver was just on. You can see and hear him and his group. Was a stunning performance. I can see why he won an emmy. Peace

  • @chest002 Iver? You mean Bon Iver, the band name. The leader's name is Justin Vernon.

  • @chest002 a grammy, not an emmy :)

  • I wqtched your other video where you sang in falseto, like Iver. Personally I like your voice on this video. Put some feeling with this voice and you have a performance. Anyone agree?.

  • vincent is a little stoned but it's ok.

  • you're an awesome teacher man wow

  • Thank you Warren, really, I was dying to learn this masterpiece! I learned a lot of Radiohead songs with your tutorials and when I saw you had made an Holocene tutorial... Your the best, the very best 'tutor' on the Youtube. You are absolutely talented, and a great person i think. I just subscribed your channel, after at least one year of learning trough your videos/lessons. Thank you for this, and for all the other songs.

(Please, do 'Perth' one of these days... I would love that.)

  • Thats cool. I used to check what i had against what you had for radiohead music. Go figure that someone cool enough to inspire with radiohead, would also inspire with bon iver.

  • Outstanding!

  • THANKS DUDE!

  • Fuck, my broke my A string. Good tutorial though.

  • I was like 'Holy Shit' when i spotted this vid! 8-)

  • "we should write a song called holocene" niice :b

  • thanks man! this made my night.

  • dude, you're such a natural music teacher. you could be a professor one day :)

many thanks for turning me on to Bon Iver; hadn't heard of them before this. cheers

  • I've been looking for a tutorial for this almost every day since the album came out. And here we are with the guy that usually teaches me Radiohead songs. I can't thank you enough!

  • Man I'd love to spend some hours on this but do you really need special strings? That seems really burdensome.

  • @Maestro4262 $10 and a re-stringing is not much when you think of how many ladies you will get with this song, oops, I mean how fun and inspiring it will be to play this song.

  • @warrenmusic You're right, Warren. You're always right.

  • Holy shieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

  • I'm such an idiot.. Of course the Nashville tuning needs special strings but I tried tuning an entire octave on my string anyways and ripped it... Now I can't even do it with standard tuning because I don't have any spare strings :/ Great tutorial though!

  • @sami0139 Sorry about that, I've made an annotation addressing this in the video now.

  • @warrenmusic Great although I think and hope no one is as stupid as I was. Rookie mistake since Nashville tuning is fairly obscure/rare :)

  • awesome I wondered if this would ever happen
