  • I have a 2006 F800 Cannondale I bought in November of 2006 with over 25,500 miles on the frame with no signs of cracks or fatigue damage. My previous bike a 2004 nailtrail developed a crack around the bottom bracket just over a year and 7200 miles on it. My second frame they sent me developed the same crack around the bottom bracket just over another year and then I bought my USA made cannondale and haven't looked back. Now that Cannondale is made in taiwan I'm keeping mine until the END.

  • Dear Sir, hope you could be well understand about testing rules of JIS test which international brands have followed so many years, the twist forces are far different from riders normally pedalling.

  • Um ... 100,000 cycles? Pedalling at 90 rpm, that's 18 hours of cycling. Not much of a lifespan. Fatigue life of steel and titanium is measured in the tens or hundreds of millions of cycles. Leap's test will only uncover the most blatant defects.
