  • lol you call that traffic you obviously havent been around

  • I love the Ozarks.. I used to call them mountains until I lived in Colorado... I think of the Rockies as the young mountains, wild and crazy, and the Ozarks as the Grandfathers who will let you sit on their knee and tell you stories from when they were young! just a whimsical thing...

  • Me and my friend are going there for a week in 3 weeks!! =_

  • Branson is pretty but not the shows, i mean the trees, the hills (they are NOT mountains people!)

i don;t go to the shows ---the only one i have seen and liked was the dixie stampede --and the landing dumps sewage into the lake, then tourists turn around and eat the fish from the lake. so yes,i oppose branson but not some of the beatufil lakes, the wildlife, the inspiration tower, or the nature trails.

  • @blunklaura Actually, you are dead wrong. They ARE mountains. They're just extremely old mountains. The oldest in the country. Meaning they have eroded a great deal over millions of years. As for the shows, I agree with you that most of them aren't that great. That, however, is a matter of taste I suppose. The artists there have plenty of talent. They just don't play what I'd like to hear. The Japanese violinist there is freakin' amazing though.

  • @Thrillcekr Well, they were mountains, but now they've been worn down to nubs.

And as for the shows,I've since gone to two,Dixie Stampede and The Brett Family, both of which I enjoyed.

Is it too late for me to take my comment back? :)

  • I love going to Branson I've going since i was 4 every summer. Im from Kansas so its not that far of a drive. I'm 18 now and I just love the senery of the Ozark Mountains especially when you go up in the Inspiration Tower.
