@MrNuigit They just prefer to serve the ball that way. You can still generate plenty of variation in your serve with a lower throw. Variation is the key to a great serve!

@ltsjack Yes. Higher tosses have higher available energy for speed and spin production in a serve. They're a bit harder to keep short though.
