i think i get the ending when Rin wakes up in her room

It was a dream but her online friend Kuroneko aka Reiko Asagiri was trying to send her a message of what happened. Then when she wakes up she find the save kitty cat on her bed, the one Reiko was holding, meaning she's still with her, for her to hold if she needs company, so she won't be alone like Reiko was, and also to thank her for keeping her promise and coming to see her. That is true friendship, so touching, ;‿; I'm gonna cry with joy!

I love how this game had a twist to it, ghosts because of a death/suicide and waiting for one person. It just explains the human mind more when you make a promise and you dont remember it or forget it, but Rin was in hospital almost DEAD (I think) and she actually MISSED "Kuroneko" but I think I got the ending where she gets up pretty GOOD.

Rin wakes up and see's the black cat. Its the one the little girl was holding, so "kuroneko" probably gave it to her, to thank her ;)

The difference between the "fake" and "real" is basically a dream. The "fake" is more-so what Rin dreams will happen, when Reiko doesn't forgive her. The real is what truly happens and instead of her dying, Reiko forgives her, and takes her back to the reality, togheter with her "soul" (a.k.a the black cat doll -- Which basically symbolizes her character. Because she pictured herself as the "black cat". The cat that shows her around in the story, is also Reiko's spirit.

@FinnishGuy101 Just another say, that wasn't the same ending at all. Clear differences; Rin fell trough the window and "died" in his playtrough. In this ending she grabbed Reiko and tried to stop her, but they fell down togheter instead. But she didn't die.

Watch after the credits if you didn't, it basically shows it.

@nuri120 In the fake ending, Rin just talked normally to Reiko (without a phone like in this ending) and you can only really talk to a ghost if you have a cell phone, so I guess that Reiko didn't hear Rin before because she wasn't using a phone and didn't have Reiko's phone number (that Makoto gave to her). This time, Rin can touch Reiko, and she is able to escape the Mnemonic Abyss.
