That cat is a straight dinosaur man. I've ran some old ones out in the woods logging but never anything that old that thing looks like a hunk of shit. I would be pissed if I had to run that.
Americans call them backhoes,Brits call them backacters. This is because the digging action is back towards the machine as opposed to a face shovel which works away from the machine.
why do you fukin rednecks call it a hoe? a hoe is a hand tool similar to a shovel/pick that chinese farmers dig there rice patches with and chip weeds away.... THIS MACHINE IS CALLED A...
how do you figure that? all im saying is that running these machines is brainless. its not like its a hoe or a loader, which require competence. to operate the d8 i was on, all idid was pull two levers infront of me(the clutches for each track), the brakes for each track on the floor and a simple throttle control. doesnt take much brain
I ran a D8 a couple years ago, thinkin of doing that again, lots of brainless work but i enjoy running machinery so i think ill do it again ti pay the bills for a while
What about the Gulf coast? That's a little closer. The distance isn't an issue. Getting this blog spiced up has happened. That is the issue. Thanks for being predictable.
I hope you find a company that can utilize your talents in such a way that finds a middle ground between talents, payroll, and equipment. You express yourself in a brief and exceptional manner. I hope to hear from you in the future. If you find a little time in between feel free to fuck thyself.
Teamwork sir. You might drive a watertruck but you keep the dust down. Just because some fat arse drives a D-10 doesn't mean he has more job than you. Every man from the top to the sweeper has job requirements that they must take of. Each man must take care of their responsibilities.
I have 20 years in the field. Go ahead and butt heads with me.
We collect an unemployment check, chase women, and drink. When the winter wears off we run the big iron. It's a big sandbox that pays the bill bro. We travel many miles and work big hours. We run the big iron that builds AMERICA. That's what we do. It's in our blood man. We wouldn't do anything else.

why not just get a rock truck or another dozer there and use the winch cable on the back of the little toy dozer and pull its self out...i wouldnt have a hoe reaching over my head to pull me out thats for sure.
I put my water truck in a ditch one morning while backing up in the sun, I mean total in the ditch. My water crew came by with a Kamatsu 400 or 450 and in 18 minutes lifed it up in the air and back on the ground where i should be. Amazing the power of excavaters. That woulod have been good Youtube.
Yea, I was pretty nervous. But the water crew said "we love s*** like this". Most of the their work is redundant so they thought that was cool. They wrapped the truck from the undercarriage with those thick straps and then chained up to the 450. My water truck was lifted in the air.
lol hte fork truck i buried, and broke several straps on it, , there was asphalt in front, and behind it so i moved the pete around to hte front of it, started fork truck, raised forks up , nacked pete under them lowered forks, it raised fork truckup, i put rock down in hole made by myself lol, then moved around to rear of fork truck and pushed while someone else drove. then i went on break and bought beer fro crew lol we were drunk operating a plant lol
