You want to make it really simple? Use a large pot and do it all together. If you are just going to throw the fat out use lean ground beef like. Good vid though, just not my way.
Looks great. I prefer to put the garlic in early so it has a chance to cook and sweeten. Then again, if I'm draining the grease I won't add any of the spices/aromatics until after. Otherwise... your draining off flavor!
i use taco seasoning to season my chili, so much easier, and more flavor! try it out sometime.
