Hello, sometimes I am reading the comments on youtube. Some things i have to add:
- the weather was really terrible (it is hard to see on the bad quality youtube video)
- yes, i was running! I was running horizontal and filming to the left. I don't know why many people say i was not moving at all(Does it look like that because of the big zoom of my camera?)
- no, i am not looking for fame or anything else. I simply filmed what i saw. I didn't think at bigfoot or anything else so it is no surprise that i did not to analyse or look for hair and other traces. (also note that bigfoot is not well known in europe, many of my relatives didn't know what bigfoot is; i found many US sites about bigfoot, but not many european ones)

Ok you make good points but it looks to me that the thing IS walking fast enough to be 'fleeing', it certainly doesn't want anything to do with the filmmaker. And I don't think the video depicts an apelike creature and neither is it a 'regular person.' This is by far one of the most interesting unexplained videos on YouTube. Don't you think?

Maybe, at the same time it could be as simple as a hoax. Shaky video, no footprint casts, hairs, nothing. Winter is the best time to collect biological evidence. The snow acts as a perfect mould for the feet. Hair would have been fresh and stayed fresh for DNA analysis, uncontaminated (provided its handled properly), and easy as hell to spot. This event that took place (if it was real) could literally shatter the notion of Big Foot, yeti, little foot being hoaxes.
Too much hindsight. I think he did pretty well to get what's here. Taking measurements is asking too much. You can see how awful the weather was. You don't go out looking for something strange, see it, then act like a scientist, that's too much to ask. I have written about this video at some length for BEYOND magazine, see issue 9, September 2007.
Asking too much? All this guy had to do was call a cryptozoologist. I'm not saying he has to be the scientist (he would probably contaminate the evidence ne way), just a good witness. The weather is inexcusable since he was already out there filming the glorious nature of winter. He could have called ne anthropologist, biologist or cryptozoologist and I'm sure they wouldn't mind coming to take a look.
From what he's told me I don't get the sense that he was mad about calling anyone in the immediate aftermath and I don't find that strange. Once again, you're talking with the benefit of glorious hindsight. Try not to assume what you think people should do. People generally forget about something that doesn't fit in with their categorised reality, not leap on the phone to a scientist the moment something weird happens. One of OUR survival imprints, perhaps.
But this isn't weird. Its a discovery. This incident had the potential of discovering a new creature with hard evidence. Which conveniently, with all the "sightings", no person has yet to come forth with. Yet each one of them are proud of their tale. I want to believe there is an unknown ape. But people's inability to produce hard evidence really buffers my beliefe.
Have you seen Frank Hansen's video from Luxembourg? It shows the same thing, I believe, different time & place. I know how frustrating it all is, re. hard evidence, but have you heard of the 'Yeti leg' that was found and x-rayed? A top Russian scientist didn't know what it was. See it on the BBC News website.

I would have dismissed this video due to its title had I not seen a good still of a BF also from Luxembourg. I try to keep an open mind about this with few expectations. For all we know BF might be a more evolved lifeform that has mastered the 4th dimension. That's why it outsmarts humans and appears in many parts of the world.

After 10 sec. i used FULL ZOOM, meaning the distance was alwasy the same(even if it appears that it is very close to me) Running and filming(with max zoom) through snow is not obvious (if anybody knows sth about cams, you know that it looks like you do not move at all)
-the noise is of my snow resistant pants(the thing is too far away to capture any noise at all)

Ok. A piece of advice for anyone who thinks they might be filming an extremely important event: Hold the cameral still! Otherwise, it is assumed to be fake.
The rapidshare file is gone, unfortunately. I would say that this bigfoot might carrying something, when you make some stills you can see it. What makes me curious, though, is that the person doesn't pay any attention, although you're running after it. Especially out in the woods in winter it must have looked like you're in need of help. Running over the snowfield must have made you also very visible. Why didn't you throw a "Sorry, Sir?" in his direction. Would have probably solved the riddle.

Maybe, at the same time it could be as simple as a hoax. Shaky video, no footprint casts, hairs, nothing. Winter is the best time to collect biological evidence. The snow acts as a perfect mould for the feet. Hair would have been fresh and stayed fresh for DNA analysis, uncontaminated (provided its handled properly), and easy as hell to spot. This event that took place (if it was real) could literally shatter the notion of Big Foot, yeti, little foot being hoaxes.

Too much hindsight. I think he did pretty well to get what's here. Taking measurements is asking too much. You can see how awful the weather was. You don't go out looking for something strange, see it, then act like a scientist, that's too much to ask. Asking too much? All this guy had to do was call a cryptozoologist. I'm not saying he has to be the scientist (he would probably contaminate the evidence ne way), just a good witness. The weather is inexcusable since he was already out there filming the glorious nature of winter. He could have called ne anthropologist, biologist or cryptozoologist and I'm sure they wouldn't mind coming to take a look.

From what he's told me I don't get the sense that he was mad about calling anyone in the immediate aftermath and I don't find that strange. Once again, you're talking with the benefit of glorious hindsight. Try not to assume what you think people should do. People generally forget about something that doesn't fit in with their categorised reality, not leap on the phone to a scientist the moment something weird happens. One of OUR survival imprints, perhaps.

But this isn't weird. Its a discovery. This incident had the potential of discovering a new creature with hard evidence. Which conveniently, with all the "sightings", no person has yet to come forth with. Yet each one of them are proud of their tale. I want to believe there is an unknown ape. But people's inability to produce hard evidence really buffers my beliefe.

I know how frustrating it all is, re. hard evidence, but have you heard of the 'Yeti leg' that was found and x-rayed? A top Russian scientist didn't know what it was. See it on the BBC News website.

I just love the conception that a bigfoot will attack you if you move towards it. You all need to lay off the crack, you're too paranoid. I would have dismissed this video due to its title had I not seen a good still of a BF also from Luxembourg. I try to keep an open mind about this with few expectations. For all we know BF might be a more evolved lifeform that has mastered the 4th dimension. That's why it outsmarts humans and appears in many parts of the world.

Just to clear up a few things
-note the distance between me and the thing at the beginning that's the real distance.
After 10 sec. i used FULL ZOOM, meaning the distance was alwasy the same(even if it appears that it is very close to me) Running and filming(with max zoom) through snow is not obvious (if anybody knows sth about cams, you know that it looks like you do not move at all)
-the noise is of my snow resistant pants(the thing is too far away to capture any noise at all)

The rapidshare file is gone, unfortunately. I would say that this bigfoot might carrying something, when you make some stills you can see it. What makes me curious, though, is that the person doesn't pay any attention, although you're running after it. Especially out in the woods in winter it must have looked like you're in need of help. Running over the snowfield must have made you also very visible. Why didn't you throw a "Sorry, Sir?" in his direction. Would have probably solved the riddle.
