WTF? This really isn't too hard at all! You play guitar long enough, open notes become ingrained in your ears and you will be able to match tones with ease.

I have seen his guitar reviews and he's an excellent musician but i don't see anything of another world in this vid. Everybody that plays guitar should do at least this, the guitar tuners are just a little help, but sometimes they make people lazy!

@sixpounder94 If he didn't spend most of the time playing the guitar, and was just tuning it, it seems like he could balance it out pretty quickly.

@antihax91 well it would still be pretty hard, because for a Floyd Rose, you have to level out the bridge with the string tension, its a lot harder than it looks :P and it takes a lot longer than a normal guitar

Unless your using a toaster as a pick, I doubt your strings would get that untuned

@BlasphemousVince not really. if the strings adapt to a certain tension and you just change the tuning, the will take time to adapt until they wont go out of tune - and meanwhile they will stretch etc.

@richogem True, but the strings on his guitar arent in any tunning, there just on the guitar with maybe a pound of pressure each, but its just like when you schage the strings, they sound shitty at first but after an hour or two, they settle in just fine

@BlasphemousVince since theyre not in any tuning, it means they need to adapt to any certain tuning. so still, they would go out of tune at first. ofcourse you can avoid some of it by stretching them a little with your hand or with a tremolo... after a while, it shouldnt matter.
