This man has dedicated his entire life to serving his guru....and has gone through many, many obstacles....although (BECAUSE) he is a flawed human being who has never given up and continues to serve no matter what others may think of him, he is a tremendous inspiration and guiding light to me. Thank you, Swamiji, for helping me so much when i was first setting forth on this path.
Why are the spiritual book in custody of organizations and why is it not avilable free on the internet for common masses? Most people read free books on internet and then buy them.We want to distribute your original books to common people. How do we do that?
Is this not against Paramhansa's request to not talk about him in front of atheists? I mean youtube has a lot of visitors who do not like to believe in this way of thought.
And secondly, is it ok to not believe in miracles till one truly sees for themselves? And does something like childbirth qualify as a miracle? Or should we look for something truly illogical and out of normal etc...
Thank you.. I have found this channel at a good time in life :)
Clouds become beautiful before the sunset, when the sun is shining on them. Human beings become beautiful when the inner sun of God's light shines through them. And the simile holds well after the sunset too, for behold those same clouds then. They become gray, or even black,
Thank you for being here on youtube Swami Kriyananda.
I found the Bhagavad Gita while doing time in prison 8 years ago. I have my own copy of the gita the Yogi Yogananda version :) I got to start reading it again, but thank you for helping us with your videos and practicing gods love!
How has the gita helped you. I am a 22 year old male and I am at a point in my life right now where I need something to guide my life and influence me.
My father died when I was very young and I know I need direction. Wioll the gita help?
How does one find a Guru? The guru is sent one by God. If one is sincerely seeking God, he will naturally ask for help. God will listen, and will direct him. I myself didn't even know that such things as gurus existed. But I did desperately want God. He answered me, by directing me to Paramhansa Yogananda through his book, Autobiography of a Yogi.
You have asked an important question, and I pray God answers it.

Clouds become beautiful before the sunset, when the sun is shining on them. Human beings become beautiful when the inner sun of God's light shines through them. And the simile holds well after the sunset too, for behold those same clouds then. They become gray, or even black,
and lose their beauty altogether!

Compelling argument. How does one find a Guru, then?

Yogananda said to Swami Kriyananda, "I know every thought you think." Wow, that's staggering! Can you imagine living with such a Master?
I loved his comment, "The ego is infected with the very disease it's trying to overcome." Now I understand the need for a Guru! Thank you, Swamiji.
