  • Filthy scumbag.

  • What a fucking boss.

  • Dude r you kidding me. So your saying that cause dems don't stand 4 anything it's ok what he did and worse. He lied under oath? I think Bush was a stronger leader. Forget about politics, w would never 2nd guess him self & is not afraid to make unpopular decisions.

  • @comidities "I killed a bunch of brown people.. but I never second guessed myself! That's gotta count for something right?" That's not a virtue in itself. In fact, for a president whose choices are felt throughout the world that's not a virtue at all. His choices must also be right in order for them to have any virtue. What's even more sad is the fact that if you look at who was actually in charge of Bush's FP it was Cheney. So your "corageous" president was actually Cheney's wimp.

  • lol.... not his best moment. too bad bush ruined america after this great man left office.

  • @underlinedbluetext "Great man"? You mean the guy who had a legitimate affair in the Oval Office? Yeah, sounds like one hell of a guy.

  • @whiteganser Yep. Much better that then an unjustified war in iraq and thousands of dead US soldiers.

  • @underlinedbluetext Despite the death's of our soldiers being an absolutely terrible fact. You do realize that in wars in the past, we lost thousands EVERY DAY. The amount of casualties in the Iraq war is NOTHING compared to Vietnam, Korean War, World War II (obviously), etc.

  • @whiteganser i do realize... but i would rather my president get a blowjob than start wars on a whim. - i think clinton is a great man. and believe it or not, i think bush is too. i just think clinton was the better leader, and that bush screwed us over big time. democrats aren't the ones that claim the moral high ground on these issues, republicans are. and i wish the right would stop trying to pin all of w's mistakes on obama. but i suppose thats just the way they're going to do it.

  • This excuse did not work for me in school.

  • this makes me angry because I know people who do this shit to me in real life.

  • Clinton is a badass haha.

  • lawyered!

  • Can we see the full clip of the conversation?

  • @hants23

    Try searching youtube for "what is is" then click first link

    Or paste

    watch?v=SaZBm-d5Yqs&feature=related

    Poor quality video though

    The full text can be Googled

  • @bamageddrain the problem with that comment is that you're now the first link...

  • haha he's sweatin like Nixon

  • ron paul seems to be the only one who cares about the constitution anymore

  • Bill Blythe (Clinton) was successful at furthering David Rockefeller's New World Order agenda. He's brought us a smidgen closer to planetary enslavement.

  • How bout some more NAFTA ... Nother Afternoon F-ing That Ass

  • So this 2 second out of context clip is the basis for all this?

  • just imagine: the leader of the free world, the most powerful man in the world, having an affair with an INTERN! On the job! How ridiculously out of line is that?

  • if those words came out of Bush's mouth, ppl would say oh look what a dumb ass lol

  • @LikableDesi lol, the only way bush would be able to have those words come out of his mouth is if he read them on the teleprompter, and even then he'd probably muss it up.

  • the first black president

  • Clinton the President that signed the nafta and gave away all those American jobs.

  • According to Paula Jones, this guys weenie was 5-inches long, who voted for that little-wanged asshole?

  • brilliant

  • According to Paula Jones his penis was only 5 inches long.

  • @BigBadTestilicus bigger than yours......if thats what your concern "is"

  • @HoodwinkedbyanAngel "AND HE GOT AWAY WITH IT"..... if you consider having your name dragged through the mud and the humiliation of stars pornographic accounts of his sex acts to the whole world and his marriage put on the rocks and official censure and his biggest legacy as pres remembered as some salacious scandal , then yea he got away with it , free and clear. Yea.

  • @bticu5rvib7ni My friend...when Clinton came back from China they found $200,000 cash and another 1/2 million in jewels in just one suitcase he had...

    ```
    For those kinds of Kick backs I am sure his wife was willing and able to over look a few adulterous flings...and i used to live in New York and let me tell you the elite do not look on Sex and good bad morals the same way the average person does...IT IS JUST SEX & NO BIG DEAL WHO THEY FUCK.
    ```

    Either way My data was correct according to info most would never hear about..

    so have a good one

  • @HoodwinkedbyanAngel I want those 2 minutes of my life back!! Not only was your source very dodgy looking, but after wasting my time reading all that, there wasn't even any mention of 200k in cash and 500k in jewels. Lol, you are contradicted by your very own source that you proudly use to try to prove your point. Hhahaha, that's hilarious.

    "Either way My data was correct according to info most would never hear about.." pffft, sounds like a self reinforcing delusion to me. Say hi to cia..

  • @bticu5rvib7ni i DONT HAVE TO PROVE a fucking thing to you ...what i told you was the truth ~

    ```
    Ass hole ~ what you dont read about in the papers about the DEA CIA & the Feds smuggleing drugs cash and jewlles agourd the world would fill up volumes ...
    By your ignorance of the way life works in and of itself is enough to make me sick...I guess your wortless ass has just never played with the big boys so therefor you dont understand the game [[[9IG PICTURE ]] & YOU NEVER WILL ~
    ~
  • @HoodwinkedbyanAngel LOLLLL umad? u mad bro? awwwe. poor baby lolllllllllllllllllllllll btw.............. u mad? Oh and yes you bloody well do have to prove it before me, or anyone with half a brain would believe anything that a foul mouth pea brained psycho bitch freak like yourself would ever say. And yes I know about the cia drug connection fuckface, but that's not what we were talking about is it? Try to stay on topic for a minute there slick- I know it's hard for you being off
  • @HoodwinkedbyanAngel ..being off your meds and all, but give it a go will ya? That's a good boy. Lol @ "played with the big boys " Little man, if you knew the people that I've dealt with you'd be crapping in your little diapers right now for having run your mouth at me like that. JS. But that's alright, I know your mentally ill and you can't help it- I feel sorry for you and I just hope that you get the help that you need. Your mummy wants you to take your meds alright? bye bye now hun
  • @animagus333 he runs the free world, r you an idiot. its not the hood droping rock and pick buck. c'mon this guy should show structure. not like goetto baby daddy's
  • My reaction to seeing this. *clears throat*
    NO! NO! NO NO NO NO!!! NOOOOOO! No no no no no no no no NO!!!! NO. Nooooo. No. NO!!!!!
  • May as well have just put on skies and jumped over a shark.
  • @preachingsin i agree sometimes its just better to shut up
  • There's only one way to tell if a politician is lying... If his lips are moving.
  • Globe mag. reports that Clinton only has 6 months to live. I know that Globe's crap, but I can only hope that this gossip is true!
  • LMFAO this beats anything bush said, this guy sounds retarted.
  • @sho449
    "retarted"?.. yea the irony...
  • I love it, fucking slick willy only guy who can actually pull some bullshit like that off
  • Clinton gets a lot of flak for this statement, but Aristotle identified five different meanings of the word 'is,' so Clinton was actually right. There's the is a identity, the is of predication, the is of auxiliary, the is of existence, and the is of location.
  • @philochristos
    Yup Slick Willy was a Rhodes Scholar and was mentored by Quigley, one of the more brilliant men of the 20th century. This wasn't just a humorous gaffe, the man is highly intellectual.
  • Try this with the bank, when they tell you your payment IS late,
    I am sure they can clarify the meaning of is to you.
  • @federalwarhawk But after you pay your payment, it no longer IS late. It then becomes WAS.
  • @philochristos Actually it's not even necessary to go there. He just said 'there's nothing going on between us' which was absolutely true. No need for convoluted explanations or equivocations. His statement was just plain true. Now if he had said there never was in the past at any point anything ever between us, that would be different. But that's not what he said. He should have just said.. "I told the truth"
  • Clinton was nothing more than a puppet of the Jews, he worked for their interests only, not ours.
    If you don't think the Jews have much control in the U.S.A. listen to Jew Benjamin Freedman's 1961 speech.
  • @stepheng1483 It's Nazi time.
  • @stepheng1483 And there's not a thing you can do about it. ^_^
  • Clinton is funnier than Bush. At least Clinton sounded intelligent when he said stupid things.
  • @TheHomelessCripple Bush would then say, "That depends on what you mean by 'intelligent'." (Bush's Trollface)
  • Sorry, forgot to paste the first part. This is from Google answers:
    Don't forget that the accusation was not that Clinton had a
    current affair with Monica, but that an affair did occur. Clinton's
    lawyer was completely aware of that at the time of the statement so
    either he was purposefully very misleading or outright lied in his
    comments.
  • @almsfsdjgx What clinton said was true- end of story. He had no obligation to try to correct what peoples assumptions might be. That would be the job of a tutor or a therapist or something. In my opinion if you are stupid enough to make false inferences from something that someone said that is your own damn fault, you should take ownership of that and not blame it on someone else. If I was questioning clinton and he made that statement to me, alarm bells would have gone off inside my head..
  • @almsfsdjgx .. that his answer is not exactly in line with the information I was trying to elicit and I would have forced him to actually answer the question that I asked, or rephrased the question if it wasn't specific enough to begin with. That's the job of the prosecutor, NOT the job of the person being questioned. You can't blame clinton for the incompetence and/or laziness of an inept lawyer. There is NO such thing as a misleading statement, only ignorant people that jump to conclusions
  • @almsfsdjgx .. as long as the statement is true, of course, which there is no dispute that it was. It's a very natural and indeed EXPECTED thing , especially in an adversarial legal system, for people to try to answer questions in a way that present themselves in the best light. It's not the job of the person being questioned to make the prosecutors case for them. After all the idea of being misleading is very subjective and nebulous. Anything that a defendant says that is of an
  • @almsfsdjgx .. exculpatory nature is by definition 'misleading' if the person is found to be guilty. Where do you stop? This really bothers me that idiot questioners have to put the burden of responsibility for ensuring the effectiveness of their questioning in making the defendant look bad, on to the defendant himself by whining that factually true statements he made were not good enough because the PROSECUTOR didn't ask the right questions or follow up well enough. I salute clinton .
  • Clinton was also fully aware of this so he was either purposefully
    very misleading or outright lied in his defense of his attorney's
    statements. The definition of "is" was not in question because
    everyone knew that the question at hand was a previous affair, not a
    current affair. So Clinton was the only one trying to define "is".
  • Slightly philosophical
  • It depends on what your definition of the word "jizz" is...
  • @NickelsAndBewbs i love it!
  • He's brilliant!
  • best guy ever! Let's just make him president for life, screw Obama and Bush.
  • Soooo, can anybody explain what the hell Clinton was getting at when he says "the definition of the meaning of the word "is" is"? What the hell, my fucking brain explodes trying to think about the meaning of that statement? Help!
  • @mrbrockpeters Clinton was/is a lawyer. That means he knows multiple definitions for most words in the dictionary, including "is". This means he said the meaning of the sentence was not solid because of this one "be verb". Average people would have said yes or no. Smarter people would have said the word "affair" has multiple definitions. Truly gifted people would have done what Clinton did.
  • @mrbrockpeters
    The following caps are to call attention to words. :)
    So, and I hope I get this right, but I'm thinking that it was that Bill was playing with his words... Particularly, "is" is a present tense form of "be". Look at him in the video, he is not having sex at that moment. Therefore he could easily say he IS not having an affair... because he is not doing it RIGHT AT THAT VERY MOMENT.
    I can only guess that was the case.
  • @h3lblad3
    Hit the nail right on the head.
    He's a pretty clever bro, lmfao.
  • @mrbrockpeters
    There's a reason why almost every word in English has a vast number of meanings. Think about it.
  • @mrbrockpeters
    Clinton had said: "there is not a sexual relationship."
    He kinda gave himself some leeway there. He meant it in the PRESENT tense. Basically: "I'm not literally having sex at this very moment, in the present."
  • Bill, are you stuffing Monica? And I mean right now, as I ask you this. Are you busy stuffing any or all of her various orifices full of sausage? That's really what I'm asking you, Bill. Are you having sex with Monica, at this very moment.
    The case was a farce, the trial was a farce, and his response was a farce. And the punters at it all up.
  • People in the middle are, by definition, unprincipled. That's not a virtue.
  • OK, maybe that's a little too far. They aren't unprincipled, necessarily, but they surely don't have any coherent philosophy of government.
  • @ cosmicharlie1970 people in the middle ARE principled. Many believe in compromise to get things done. The rest are flip floppers that change there mind with every new news story. I'm in the compromise crowd but don't mix me up with the flip floppers. Compromise IS a virtue.
  • @bamageddrain
    That's circular logic.
    You are in the middle, which means you depend on a situation to sway you in either direction.
    Thus, since you are unswayed to begin with, you are not a flip flopper?
  • @AnglicanApologist72 oh yeah i forgot  I have to be politically correct.....I guess calling Obama a greasy nigger is out of the question
  • @AnglicanApologist72 lol you mean obama
  • @AnglicanApologist72 its to late dude......were fucked
  • I started to read the comments here, but I'm not going to because its the same old tired clinging to left-right paradigms.
  • He could've banged a 15 year old chick for all I cared. He was a good prez!! He was the best. We all had jobs when he was in power!
  • fuck all politicians.....left and right..........the world is fucked
  • well said!
  • @777Finster true that. But, honestly we have to remember where these politicians come from. They don't fall out of the sky. They come from American parents, American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses, american universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have a sucky public you're going to have sucky leaders.
  • @777Finster because of ignorant people that say things like that
  • @777Finster Direct Democracy FTW!
  • @777Finster HE LIKES TO SAY THE "F" WORD. A LOT. "F" THIS AND "F" THAT. AND EVERYTIME.. HE SAID "F" WORD, PEOPLE, FOR SOME REASON, WELL, THEY'D STICK THEIR THUMBS UP.
  • @777Finster Um actually Clinton created 23.1 million jobs and had the lowest poverty and crimes rates in decades. He had four (count 'em, 4) surpluses in his second term. He didn't get the US into any major wars and when he was warned about Bin Laden by the CIA he tried repeatedly to bomb the SOB whereas Bush told the CIA "okay, you've covered your ass now" (one month before 9/11).
  • @joshatkins94 he might be the best, but best is not an excuse.
  • @joshatkins94--ahem....excellent point's.. (:
  • @777Finster Cynicism is intellectual laziness.
  • @LeLimeLine
    - "progressive" hipster
    tare down teh walls man..... far out...........
  • @LeLimeLine i dont like your face bitch
  • This is seriously the dumbest thing I have ever heard from a politician.
    But then, what would "is" mean in that sentence? XD
  • i like bill clinton and joe biden is his twin brother
    when it comes to this bone headed stuff.
  • People had jobs when Clinton was in office.
  • That's right, there was jobs with Clinton! There was jobs when Bush was president too! Don't forget most of the time Clinton was president he was stuck with a republican controlled congress keeping him from doing very thing he wanted. I think business liked that environment. A Balance of Power. Obama needs to convince small business that he cares about them if he wants to to join Clinton and Bush as Job creating presidents. So far I've heard very little that would encourage small business.
  • @bamageddrain truth, I'm sick of Obama supporters still blaming Bush. I bet if Obama gets another 4 years they'll be blaming the employment situation on Bush in 2015.
  • @bamageddrain I think the distinction is that under Clinton 23.1 million new jobs were created, whereas under Bush Jr. 3 million were created. They both had eight years yet Clinton created nearly 8 times more jobs. I think that tells us all we need to know about the success of Bill Clinton's presidency. FWIW, my source is the WSJ ("Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record", 1/9/2009).
    ...and seriously, Obama hasn't helped SMBs? He cut taxes, then cut taxes, and signed the SMB loan bill.
  • @bamageddrain--bush sold out the troops and suck up to the big corps like Koch Bros..oil...banks and put loopholes to protect the rich....
  • @hockibabe Hmmm ... I must be rich then.. Me and my friends did great and always had work when Bush was prez.
    Bush said funny things too! lol
    Check out my video about Bush for a good time! :-D
    "George W Bush Talking Doll with Funny Quotes"
    watch?v=f-JfvU8YVCo
  • @bamageddrain-both parties lie...they ARE politician's!...the difference; is taking THIS country to war on a lie, sending our troops to their death and bankrupting the middle class & poor. Hurting ppl who are the most vunerable. Why do bush apologist's always throw up clinton? Our economy did fine under clinton. Also, what makes bush/republican fans so mean, aren't you sick of hate yet?
  • @hockibabe Wow you seem a little mean and hateful yourself. lol :) and called 1/2 of America mean! Oh, don't forget presidents have a mean Senate and House of Reps that force them to do things and sign things they don't like too. Happened to Clinton and Bush. It's just a mean game. I like watching them all play their cards. But don't let it stress you out too much! Enjoy the game.
    btw I can't call myself a member of either of those two parties.
  • @bamageddrain--mean..moi? ....I didn't call half of Ameican ppl mean...just the radical religious & the infinitely stupid ;) lol.......inorance is different, they don't know better! That is why I support education.
    I too, will watch the end game....nice chatting with you (:
  • @bamageddrain--btw...I agree with you on creating jobs for small business. I am ok so far, but friends have lost their "small business". By small business, I don't mean Target, Walmart, Walgreen's or Schnuck's.
  • @viralthings what, do you mean like handjobs?
  • @viralthings
    Ummm... thanks to the private sector. Definitely not Clinton.
    Let me guess... you still think there was a "surplus", am I right?
  • @viralthings
    Please Clinton is a piece of SHIT just like the rest of them. Clinton is the one that signed the North American Free Trade Agreement which has caused many of Americas jobs to go offshore.
    When are Americans going to learn that BOTH PARTIES ARE BOUGHT AND PAID FOR?!
  • @7Christian So Al Gore would have had the same presidency as George Bush? Fuck no! You're stupid. Really.
  • @7Christian Darn strait. I hate that agreement. So many Canadian jobs going to America.
  • Bill Clinton is a filthy liberal who should go die in a hole
  • lol...hatred...
  • Lmao what a douche bag
  • Bill Clinton is great. He can turn a lie into the true. Jesus couldn't even do that.
  • Hail Eris! Bill Clinton is obviously a fellow Pope and familiar with the works of Robert Anton Wilson
  • Bill Clinton showed democrats it is ok to lie and now that is all they do.
  • there is nor D/R or a Left/right
    what do you mean they dems lie , both lie and both are bought and paid for by the same puppet master
    get your head out of the sand
    what are you gonna vote in schmuckabee and expect change , or the palein horse ?
  • Very true.
  • ah philosophy
  • You and I would still be in Jail right now !!!!
  • That is the quote of the 90s, classic.
  • Republicans are going to demonize Clinton until they have someone new to demonize, and the Democrats are going to demonize Bush until THEY have someone new to demonize. The way to tell if a politician is lying is if his/her lips are moving. They're all liars, it's their job.
  • Under pressure from Starr, who, as Clinton learned, had obtained from Lewinsky a blue dress with Clinton's semen stain, as well as testimony from Lewinsky that the President had inserted a cigar tube into her vagina, Clinton admitted that he lied to the American people and that he had had inappropriate intimate contact with Lewinsky.
  • You seem very preoccupied with what Clinton was doing outside of his job and all the graphic details.Again, whether or not he was screwing around has nothing to do with his actual job or job performance.
  • If any president lies under oath while in office, that has everything to do with his job. Sorry that you have such a low standard for your leaders.
  • Not really - if he had lied about something directly related to his job and the Presidency - like policies he'd been involved with, maybe you'd have a point. This is a man who got up on a stand and lied to save his family and protect his marriage.Not saying that lying on the stand is okay and that he shouldn't be held accountable, but I can see where it came from.Plus, I don't expect moral perfection out of my leaders - they are human beings too, no one is perfect, not you, not me, not anyone.
  • I know what Bush did was illegal. He got a DUI. Case closed. But this whole. "Clinton just got in trouble because of a b-job" is BS. He got in trouble because he lied under oath. End of story. And this whole "It happened before he was president" is BS too, because his lying under oath took place while he was president. So ya, I know people aren't perfect, but the line of defending Clinton on this page is ridiculous. Really.
  • No it's not case closed. If you want to damn and dismiss Clinton for lawbreaking, then damn and dismiss BUSH, too. Stop giving him a free-pass because he's a conservative Republican. I never said perjury was fine, it isn't, but in the grand scheme of things I can see why he did it, and I'd rather have a President who worked his ass off and really cared like Clinton did who lies about getting blown than a President like Bush, anyday. And you know damn well Bush will lie in a heartbeat, himself.
  • LOL. Bullsh*t. This video and dialog is about Clinton not Bush. Your whining about Bush is just to detract from the fact that all of your assertions in this conversation have been proven to be WRONG. But your constant wielding of the Bush-Defense is both hilarious and pathetic to watch. I don't like Bush and I do not care about that side of the argument here because IT DOES NOT MATTER IN THIS SUBJECT.
  • What's hilarious and pathetic is the time and effort you're willing to devote to trying to tear down a man who is no longer in Office and while there, actually excelled at his job. And THAT is what you should be concerned with, not who he slept with, but how well he performed the job we hired him to do.
  • What's hilarious and pathetic is the time and effort you're willing to devote to trying to defending a man who lied under oath while in Office and while there, was screwing around on his wife and the lied about it UNDER OATH. And THAT is what you should be concerned with, not the irrelevant matter of George Bush's DUI, but the character of the man who held his hand up in a hearing and swore to tell the truth . . .and then LIED.
  • Why are you bothering to point out Clinton lied? They are all liars. Clinton just got caught. Big whoop. The next president will be a liar, the one after, the one after, the one after........There is no honesty in politics.
  • I already addressed your comments about Clinton more than once, so I am very much ON topic. I also bring up Bush, which you apparently don't like me doing too much, but that is your problem, not mine. And I do it not to distract or as a tactic, but to make the point that what makes a great President has to do with how he does his JOB. Bush's Presidency may have been less messy in certain respects, but when it came to his actual job performance? He left this country in tatters.
  • That's just the difference between a president concerned more with foreign policy than domestic policy. Look back at any president you want, look at their focus, you'll see the same trends.
  • Not only that, I'm not really concerned with what the Presidents do privately. That's not my business and in all honesty, it's not any of yours. The fact that you're focusing on who verbed his noun and where semen was or wasn't shows that you clearly have a f**ked-up sense of priorities. My concern is what they do in Office. And when it comes to that, Clinton was a damn good President.
  • I always get concerned when a president lies under oath. You should be too. And the fact that you think it's so minor is more f*ked up than anything else. Really. And again you are playing the "it was just over a bjob"argument" He lied under oath, THAT'S what I'm focusing on. STOP DEFENDING THE GUY WHO LIED UNDER OATH.
  • I'd be concerned if it had to do with something related to his DUTIES as President. Not him lying about a blowjob (when he was dragged on the stand about it by a bunch of dudes who wanted him out of office purely because they didn't like that he wasn't a member of their political party) because he wanted to keep his family intact. Yes it's wrong that he lied, and I already said he should have been held legally accountable for it, but am I going to string him up for it? Nope.
  • He was questioned relating to a sexual harassment lawsuit. So it was serious and relevant, not just about his private life. Get real mmmK?
  • The Jones sexual harassment thing occurred before he was elected and thus has nothing to do with his Presidency. What happened with Lewinsky was a private encounter that had nothing to do with his job or his job performance and that's where are concern should lie. Like I said, it you want to insist that everyone's job hinge on what they do in their personal lives, a lot of people would be ot work, including you, I'm sure. No one is perfect.
    I think you might want to take your own advice.
  • Yeah what happened with Lewinsky was a private matter. But he was asked relevant to a sexual harassment lawsuit whether he had sex with her and he said no. Which was a lie. Sexual harassment is serious, lying under oath is serious. Lying under oath while you are the President is a REALLY dumb thing to do. But that's all just minor in your book. LOL
  • He admitted himself that it was a lie and apologized for it. I never said perjury was okay, but I see why he did it - I'm sure it was done to keep his family together. Besides, what he does sexually is completely irrelevant to his job and none of our business, so lying about that isn't a big deal. Now, had he lied about something he'd done as President, in his WORK, I would see that as a cause for concern and being pissed and grounds for dismissal.
  • Yeah I know he admitted what he did was wrong, but he did way too late, He should have told the truth when he swore to tell the truth in the deposition. And no, what he does sexually is relevant to a sexual harassment investigation. It doens't matter whether it is a part of your job or not as it relates to reasons for impeachment.
  • What I'M saying is that what he does sexually is irrelevant to his JOB. And them trying to pitch him out for lying about something that was no one's business in the first place; completely irrelevant to his job; a lie he told to keep his marriage and family together, is absolutely asinine.
  • You're not getting it. Sexual harassment is the business of the people. That's why they made laws against it. He was asked about AND LIED. UNDER OATH.
    Quit it with the completely stupid and idiotic argument that because it has nothing to do with his job and was "private" people should have left him alone. Both explanations are idiotic.
  • You only find them idiotic because it's not the answer you want to hear.That's not my problem.Like I said, Bush also committed crimes prior to election- I don't see you in here screeching that he should have been impeached, and he could have killed someone with his crime. Is sexual harassment wrong and illegal? Yes. Is perjury wrong and illegal?Yes, but the events he lied about were either one time incidents that occurred long before he was elected or highly personal and irrelevant to his job.
  • No they are idiotic because not only are they not acceptable to me but also failed as a reason for him not to answer the questions when presented by his attorneys. I don't care if it was irrelevant to his job. He lied under oath, a crime. Period.
  • "Idiotic because they are not acceptable to me" is really just a long winded way of saying that it's idiotic to you because it's not the answer you want to hear or agree with. Again, not my problem. I don't care that you don't care. Again, they backed this man into a corner over old mistakes and personal BS that was unrelated to his job that odds are, anyone would lie about in order to keep their family, then when he did just that, they went, "Aha! Perjury!" And tried to get rid of him. Period.
  • It was not acceptable to the people. While Clinton was in office he LIED UNDER OATH. It doesn't matter if it was related to his job or not. Clinton tried to argue that the case should wait until he was out of office but the supreme court ruled against him. So YOU LOSE.
    Lying under oath happened WHILE he was president. I'm not surprised that your two-dimensional thought process won't let you to grasp what the judge who issued the subpoena was able to grasp. LOL
  • man you think your some damn hero, when your just a dumbfuck liberal. haha dont reply, wont read :) have a nice day.
  • And again, the Jones incident happened BEFORE he was elected President, and, if he actually did it, it was a one-time mistake that he didn't make again.
  • And he lied WHILE he was president. A very serious matter. Illegal in fact. If he had an affair with Lewinsky, yeah so what, a private matter. But I think sexual harassment is a serious matter, and if he lied about it under oath, then that , matters whether you're an average citizen or the president
  • As far as the perjury charge, I already said that's illegal and not okay.But I see why he did it, and in the long run, what he was lying ABOUT was none of our business and irrelevant to what IS our business, which is how he ran this country.The harassment was a mistake he never made again that occurred BEFORE he was elected.We all lie, and I'm not going to string him up for making a mistake.But if you ARE, when are you going to string up Bush for drunkdriving, he could have killed someone.
  • I see why he did it, and it was a stupid move. It doesn't matter what the reasoning. In a deposition or before a grand jury or in court, when you're asked the question YOU ANSWER IT HONESTLY. When the harassment took place is irrelevant. He lied under oath WHILE IN OFFICE.
  • When it took place IS relevant if you're trying to use it as a BS excuse for why he should have been dismissed. That's trying to punish somebody for mistakes they made years before. And if you see it like that, you should hold Bush to that same standard with his DUI. But I personally think demanding that someone be ousted from their current job for a mistake they made years before and only lied about recently in order to protect their family is stupid, and it's irrelevant to their current job.
  • He didn't make the mistake YEARS before. He made the mistake WHILE HE WAS PRESIDENT. Namely lying under oath.
    Lying under oath at any time is STUPID. and defending it is STUPID. It doesn't matter what the reason is for the lie. And it's beyond pathetic to try and defend such action.
    And quit it with the Bush-defense. This is a comment-thread about Clinton. Only a moron deflects attention away from the topic of the video by saying "b.b.b. but look what HE did over here!!!" lol.
  • I agree with that.
  • You are a real half-wit. The judge who issued the subpoenea understood that the issue was relevant to the Paula Jones lawsuit. And the supreme court understood this as well,. And when Clinton tried to argue "This happened before I was president and has nothing to do with my job" the supreme court disagreed and allowed the questioning of Clinton to move ahead. But I expect you now to disregard the legal arguments made and to once again make the same sorry argument.
  • Clinton v. Jones, 520 U.S. 681 (1997), was a landmark United States Supreme Court case establishing that a sitting President of the United States has no immunity from civil law litigation against him, for acts done before taking office and unrelated to the office.
    End of story
  • Clinton went on television again to deny it more forcefully in a Jan. 26 statement that has become a coda for this saga. "Listen to me," he said defiantly that day. "I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky."
  • "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky" in a nationally televised White House news conference.
    During his Jan. 17 deposition in the Jones case, he said, "I have never had sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky. I've never had an affair with her." Four days later, after the story of Starr's investigation broke, Clinton said, "There is not a sexual relationship, an improper sexual relationship, or any other kind of improper relationship."
  • Wikipedia - Paula_Jones
    The case was dismissed, by Judge Wright, Jones appealed, Clinton settled.
    libraryDOTthinkquestDOTiorg/25673/clinton.htm
    Clinton was questioned about affairs during an investigation about land deals. Irrelevant and entrapment.
    Wikipedia - Impeachment_of_Bill_Clinton
    2 articles for impeachment never went to vote.
    Perjury charge was defeated (55against)
    Obstrution of Jusitcce defeated 50-50
    He was found not guilty.
    Your ball.
  • LOL. I never said he was convicted. But did Clinton Lie under oath? Yes that's indisputable. And to top it off, he looked right into the camera and lied to the American people. Shameless.
    What Ive established: Was the questioning of Clinton relevant and admissible? Which you said no. Supreme Court and the judge overruled you.
    Did Paul Jones settle with Clinton Before his testimony? You said yes but the facts show no.
    "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"
    Umm yeah . you did. LOL
