This means he said the meaning of the sentence was not solid because of this one "be verb". Average people would have said yes or no. I also bring up Bush, which you apparently don't like me doing too much, but that is your problem, not mine. And I do it not to distract or as a tactic, but to make the point that what makes a great President has to do with how he does his JOB. Bush's Presidency may have been less messy in certain respects, but when it came to his actual job performance? He left this country in tatters.

I'd be concerned if it had to do with something related to his DUTIES as President. Not him lying about a blowjob (when he was dragged on the stand about it by a bunch of dudes who wanted him out of office purely because they didn't like that he wasn't a member of their political party) because he wanted to keep his family intact. Yes it's wrong that he lied, and I already said he should have been held legally accountable for it, but am I going to string him up for it? Nope.

The Jones sexual harassment thing occurred before he was elected and thus has nothing to do with his Presidency. What happened with Lewinsky was a private encounter that had nothing to do with his job or his job performance and that's where are concern should lie. Like I said, it you want to insist that everyone's job hinge on what they do in their personal lives, a lot of people would be ot work, including you, I'm sure. No one is perfect.

He admitted himself that it was a lie and apologized for it. I never said perjury was okay, but I see why he did it - I'm sure it was done to keep his family together. Besides, what he does sexually is completely irrelevant to his job and none of our business, so lying about that isn't a big deal. Now, had he lied about something he'd done as President, in his WORK, I would see that as a cause for concern and being pissed and grounds for dismissal.

It was not acceptable to the people. While Clinton was in office he LIED UNDER OATH. It doesn't matter if it was related to his job or not. Clinton tried to argue that the case should wait until he was out of office but the supreme court ruled against him. So YOU LOSE.

When it took place IS relevant if you're trying to use it as a BS excuse for why he should have been dismissed. That's trying to punish somebody for mistakes they made years before. And if you see it like that, you should hold Bush to that same standard with his DUI. You are a real half-wit. The judge who issued the subpoenea understood that the issue was relevant to the Paula Jones lawsuit. And the supreme court understood this as well,. And when Clinton tried to argue "This happened before I was president and has nothing to do with my job" the supreme court disagreed and allowed the questioning of Clinton to move ahead. But I expect you now to disregard the legal arguments made and to once again make the same sorry argument.
