Mix of finnish and english is ofcourse different than mix of danish and english because finnish is not a relativelanguage to english.

And the singin....well who cares if they aren't the best singers in the world? for me they are good enough. so if its too hard for u to watch these "rip-offs" go watch the danish version and stop spoiling our christmas

the singing is a very important part. it really finishes the whole thing and makes the difference between a good and a great show. Im not trying to ruin anyones Christmas im "just thinking out loud" xD

I'm tired of this crying and complaining. Of course danish people prefer the danish one, norwegian people the norwegian one and finns the finnish one... it's no reason to go to the videos of the other versions and say they suck. If you can't stand watching the other versions, go watch the one you enjoy. And yeah, I know danish version is the original one. But even if this is a "rip-off", it doesn't mean it can't be good. i have never said that i speak finnish, but i KNOW that many of the puns and lines are the same. i dont know the inside jokes of the finnish culture and such, but that does not make the acting any better. theres a LOT more variation in the danish and clearly better singing!!

the most important part though is the mix of Danish and English, which really makes it awesome. As far as I can hear, that is not the case in the finnish version?

Yes, there is overacting, but that is what makes it funny.

@latemaan95 the acting has very little with the language to do. it is how you play your role that matters and the overacting is a huge part of that. i have watched quite a bit of both versions by now and they are in fact "overacting" a lot more in the danish version, especially the lady. she doesnt even sound like a lady in the finnish version... :O

and they are even using 6 actors + the old one

the danish version only has 3 (!!) actors + the old one. it is a group called "de nattergale" :D

@MrVilleh first of all anyone who is objective and has real knowledge can easily see that the acting in the danish version is way better DESPITE the fact that it was only made by 3! actors in total and they wrote the entire manus themselves...

i have seen the Finnish version and it is really overplayed in a BAD way without the funny faces and such.

@assimilatordk there are 3 actors too in finnish version (if you didn't notice). also yes, finnish version is overplayed a lot. how can you make this kind of comedy without overplaying? well.. this "saapastanssi" is not so good than in danish version I admit. but anyway, finnish version is for finnish people.. not for boring danish guys. (but danish porn is good I must add)

besides, danes are not boring at all (like english or amarican people :P ) but we do use sarcasm a lot, which could make others think we are.
