Hey wenever i click on the new profile option it doesnt show me d option of online or offline profile it shows a dialouge in which a message appears and it says dat d program may be minimized or closed and a new window may be opened and when i click on continue my internet explorer gets opened

FOR PEOPLE THAT DONT GET Home button click create new account when in the what looks like a form of rules and crap scroll down in blue letters it will say Create Local Account (meaning offline) click it and the rest is simple. type in a name and play.

excuse me,i've done this on 3 pc's and has worked but on my new one, i played bioshock 2 for a hwile then when i downloaded batman, it didn't let me create offline. i deleted my old account, and it wouldn't let me create new even for bioshock 2.the HOME feature is turned off and if i press on keyboard, takes me to a xboxlive site. please help. i really want a offline profile. don't want to join anything. i'll upload a video, show you what my game does not only on batman. please help!

This is for everyone for whom pressing the "HOME KEY" doesn't show anything.

I fixed it by erasing the XLIVE.DLL file I downloader somewhere. Just INSTALL GFW and ERASE any XLIVE.DLL file that you downloader before. That should do the trick.

@shadowed512 I just deleted xlive.dll file from "Binaries" i mean in game folder, and you need to download update 2, crack fix, when you download, copy into binaries folder and then delete xlive.dll file, that should do! :D

for those who can't create an offline profile. just hit the "home button" in your keyboard. then it will prompt you to an option to sign in, create new profile and delete profile. just click create new profile. after that, create a local profile. just scroll down and click the highlighted "create a local profile". then enter your desired local profile name then click submit. hope this helps. Ooops! i almost forgot, dont forget to sign in your local profile you created when playing batman aa.

@kukkabuira it seems that there is a problem on installation process sort of...  what version of batman do you have? have you updated it? because i dont update mine just version 1.0. try reinstalling batman and dont update the reboot. and then check if GFWL will pop up or not. if you tried other games with GFWL, and also did not pop up, try also reinstalling GFWL and reboot.

@feilox i believe you have a different version of GFWL. I don't have any idea on the new updated one.Try to navigate the menus in different ways until you see the menu of creating local profiles. Try my recommendation in one of my comments above. The video above is different version of GFWL. That's why I made a new direction on how to work this out. Hope this helps!

If you have the new version of GFWL, scroll down, it'll have an HTML link that says "Create Local Profile" which will do the same thing this tutorial is telling you to do.

ok now it works I reinstalled the game & on start I allowed it to connect to the internet the firewall was asking me if I trust this application or not.

before I didn't now I allowed it & when I press home it works.

doesn't matter now I finished nearly %70 of the game on the go not pausing it was like a 5 hour continuos gameplay I could finish the game today you know you.

For all you guys in where save fixes or games for windows live fails to load.

you just minimize the game & never close the game its not too long I finished %70 of the game in 5 hours only. So you can finish the game today or in 1 day in general.

@s1n1s7ru Press HOME button on keyboard right after the game is launched during the intro cut scene and you should be able to choose create a local profile.

@s1n1s7ru You need to download the latest games for windows live program, and uninstall the one that came with the game. I had the same problem, home button in game works after I did it.
