then it would be 25% of people but still more people overall

As far as proffesional movie studios go, sony vegas is never even considered. Final cut pro is always the first priority when it comes to movie editing and why? Your average motion picture will never use a cheesy looking "zoom in and out" effect in their film, ever. Final cut comes with the best color correction, and thats why it is used in many hollywood films.

I use final cut, and final cut has better color correction. All vegas has are a bunch of ammeter affects, where as final cut pro can handle HD video quickly.

Obviously, you are a home user, so I can see why you prefer sony vegas: you are not using it for pro editing. If, however, you get into the industry, and use it for things such as commercials, film, large scale assignments, ect, FCP > vegas in every way.

Sony vegas has never been used in any pro movie studio, ever. Sony vegas only has cheesy effects, and lacks decent color correction programs. In addition, after affects costs 3x more than Express, and office costs 3x more than iwork, meaning a pc would be more expensive.

And, most pc users have encountered viruses before from drive by download attacks. They didn't download the virus themselves in the first place. I guess that majority of pc users are stupid, right?

You never said rouge programs specifically. No browser can successfully stop that (at least not alone. Maybe with NoScript on? I use that.).

But in general, harmful websites DO get blacklisted and warn you before hand that the site is or may be malicious, including some drive bys (which aren't always rouge software. Some drive bys download spyware and other malware).They can't catch everything though.

In any case, windows is not immune simply due to the browser you use. You do realize that most people are not well educated in the area of computers, right? I have fixed many computers; My friends, my family members, and other relations. All of them had windows computers, and all of them, despite writing dummy guides for them that would tell them how to avoid viruses and spyware, they were still infected. That is why I use macs. Don't get me wrong, I use windows daily as well, but I prefer macs.

And I have preference for Windows, despite having two Macs in the house. It's still a good OS and there is not a lot of malware for it (it does exist, however), but for software, compatibility, and customization, I lean towards Windows.

On top of that, I have an Xbox 360 and will begin using it as an extender, so it really depends on one's personal tastes.
