how long do i have to wait to use the fashlight and see if the embreo is forming?? help me plz cause im trying to incubate some chicken eggs and the first time i tryed it, it didn't work but this time im wondering and i whant to try that with the fashlight and find out to see if it is working
32-35c I try to keep mine at 94-95F. You mean a table lamp placed inside an incubator? I guess depends on the wattage. You also need to have a way to keep the humidity levels correct. and don't forget turning them one or twice a day.
Never had that kind of experience, although I did head to my buddies camp in Vermont every year for about a month at a clip when I was late teen-early 20s. winter/summer... didn't have any livestock, but we hunted/trapped and carted water 2 miles from a stream at the bottom of the mountain. Those outhouses seats always seem to be 10X colder than the air around them...Good times though..
Yea.. I have a old Cigar Humidor, I was thinking of rigging that up. Its almost as big, and I think would work perfect since it already has a humidity gauge, a window and its well insulated. just have to add a thermometer and a heater/thermostat. Thanks for the advice..
I grew up doing this stuff, milking cows, butchering the whole nine yards. I never thought I would see the day when I may have live like that again. That includes digging a hole for an out house.
What should the wattage be for the bulb?
